The McCain Conundrum by Roseann Salanitri
from Doofiegirl on 07/22/2015 06:02 PM
The recent war of words between Donald Trump and Senator John McCain have unleashed vitriolic comments and enigmas that are troubling for a number of reasons. On the surface, the five and a half years Senator McCain spent as a POW in Vietnam is one that should earn him much respect – at least for his willingness to serve and his ability to survive. However, his history in the United States Senate presents a bit of a conundrum: how could someone who is believed to be an American patriot – a hero – establish a political record that is filled with questions regarding his alliances and his loyalties to the veterans he identifies with and the country he served with honor? Perhaps it is these peculiarities, along with McCain calling Trump supporters "crazies", that inspired Donald Trump's recent rhetoric.
Logically, it is hard to reconcile the actions of a war hero with the voting record of Senator McCain. It is also hard to dismiss all of the allegations and suspicions of wrong-doing he has endured over the years. If you assume that Senator McCain was once a hero and you compare that assumption to his record and the many allegations against him, you may conclude that something corrupted his morality, as well as his mentality. On this basis, it can be argued that years of compromise and playing-along-to-get-along can corrupt even those who are the epitome of nobleness, which would be the strongest argument for term limits that one could imagine.
If you believe that where there is smoke; there is fire, the smoke engulfing the one-time presidential candidate may be enough to sway your opinion of him. And it may very well be the reason Senator McCain is so willing to "move beyond" the Trump episode. On July 1, 2010, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, Sydney Schanberg, wrote a detailed and well-researched analysis of Senator McCain's influential position on the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA affairs, which was formed in response to the pressure from the families of Vietnam veterans. The article was published in the "American Conservative" and entitled McCain and the POW Cover-Up. In it Schanberg documents pages within the report that led him to the conclusion that there were 10 pieces of evidence that men were left behind, in direct contradiction to the general statement issued by the Committee and the position held by Senator McCain.
Schanberg concluded that: "an honest review of the full report, combined with other documentary evidence tells the story of a frustrated and angry president (Nixon) and his national security adviser (Kissinger) furious at being thwarted at the peace table by a small, much less powerful country that refused to bow to Washington's terms."
McCain, on the other hand, always contended that the report of surviving POWs was a concoction by deluded purveyors of a "conspiracy theory." Perhaps McCain's explanation would be more believable if it weren't so frequently used as a tactic by elitists to disqualify those questioning their actions in an effort to pursue the truth.
Additionally, Senator McCain has not escaped the scrutiny of other "conspirators" or truth seekers – as the case may be. On February 4, 2015, Ben Barrack wrote an article in Walid Shabat's entity, Shoebat.com, entitled LEAKED EVIDENCE Shows Senator McCain Involved In Major Islamic Conspiracy to Transform Middle East Into Islamic State. In this article Mr. Barrack reported that when McCain was in Libya with Ambassador Chris Stevens, he told an Al Jazeera reporter that the Libyan rebels (the Muslim Brotherhood) were his heroes. The allegations presented in the article do not stop there. They go on to report that John McCain defended Hillary Clinton's adviser, Huma Abedin, against charges made by Michele Bachman in a letter sent to the Inspector General's Office of the State Department, wherein Bachman raised credible concerns about the Muslim Brotherhood's connection with Abedin. If McCain defines the Muslim Brotherhood as heroes and American citizens as "crazies", then America should not be offended when Donald Trump also weighs in with his definition of what a hero is and is not.
McCain's strange alliance with John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, his betraying confession while a POW, and his voting to reduce the pensions of our military while receiving embarrassingly high benefits as a Senator, as well as his failure to provide medical benefits appropriately for our military when he is in a prime position to do so are all peculiar accusations against a war hero. However disturbing these allegations may be, this week's war between two Titans and its relevancy to the up-and-coming presidential election may be the most disturbing revelation of all.
Of course the front-runner in any coveted campaign – especially one for the presidency of the United States – would be subject to intense scrutiny by the media and those competing for the office. And of course, Donald Trump gave his competitors and the media much to scrutinize. But there may be still more troubling indicators regarding this week's follies other than political opportunists predictably attacking the front-runner.
Goal #15 of the 45 Goals of the Communist Party states: Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
I shudder to think that this week's display of mad dogs attacking an isolated victim may be an indicator that Goal #15 may have been realized but it is hard to avoid the fact that Senator McCain is a perfect example of a Republican acting like a Democrat – and God knows there are plenty more like him. While we can explain away the motives of Trump's competitors, the sheer number of instances of Republicans acting like Democrats is troubling. Another good example is the re-election of John Boehner as Speaker of the House. It is a matter of record that 60% of Republican voters contacted their representatives requesting that they not vote for Boehner. In a representative government, as we were designed to be, that 60% should have resulted in a huge loss for the Speaker. It did not. Only 25 out of 246 Republican representatives honored the wishes of their constituents. The rest voted for Boehner, a closet Democrat who has consistently disappointed those embracing their delusion that a two-party system exists in America today . This, along with the Republicans in charge of both houses of congress compliance with America's communist party a/k/a "the Democrats", nurtures the notion that the Republican Party may only exist in principle and not in reality.
Additionally, the media has contributed to the illusion that a two-party system still exists. It parades its choice candidates before us, like Jeb, but much to their chagrin, their parade is being exposed for the illusion it is by the real maverick of the political world: Mr. Donald Trump. And to add to their distress, their old tactics of dismissing the person they fear most through innuendo and ridicule seems to be failing as well. Has the sleeping giant that once was the backbone of our Constitutional Republic finally awakened from its long nap? If it has, perhaps there is more hope for the future of America than any of us anticipated.
Love him or hate him, there can be little doubt that Trump is his own man – and that perhaps is his best qualification for the coveted office. After all, we wanted someone who spoke from the heart abandoning politically-correct speech, well, we got him. So now the question is, do we want him to be president or will we elect someone more palatable?

Trump Reminds Rove of Ross Perot by Mychal Massie
from Doofiegirl on 07/21/2015 06:58 PMKarl Rove and Reince Priebus, with a complicit Republican Congress are: A) sticking it to voters who actually care; and B) playing payola with blacks.
We've heard for the past number of years that Republican hands were tied because the Democrats held the majority in the Senate. And, as the lie went, as soon as they could wrest control in the Senate away from Democrats, they would change things.
Well they did wrest control away from the Democrats in November 2014 and the first thing they did was fully fund obamacare for Obama, approve hardcore leftist judges, and approve an Attorney General, who is Eric Holder's ideological twin and who mirrors his bigoted racist anti- Americanism. She also came with a track record of demonstrably questionable legal actions that many (myself included) consider outright criminal. Yet after a few weeks of the obligatory pontificating and blustering, Republicans approved her appointment for Obama.
Let me not overlook their helping Obama win amnesty for illegal aliens. And to prove they are consistent, Republicans have virtually rubber-stamped everything Obama wanted including trade bills that even Democrats, unions, and leftwing Marxist groups fought to defeat. (Remember that Obama's initial trade deal proposals were defeated by Democrat legislators voting against it virtually en masse). But thanks to John Boehner in the House and Mitch McConnell in the Senate, Obama got his wish. In brief, whatever Obama wants he can count on the Republican establishment making sure he gets even when his own party votes against him.

Karl Rove Assistant to President, Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor
The aforementioned notwithstanding, Republicans and their hacks are going after Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump like jackals after raw meat – and they are doing it for one reason and one reason alone. It is because Donald Trump is telling the American people exactly what those who actually care about America already know.
Mexico is no more sending America the best they have than Fidel Castro sent the best Cubans to America in the Mariel Boatlift. Supposedly only 23,000 of the 124,000 illegal alien Cubans were criminals, with the storyline being that said number of criminals was misleading because in the United States, the overwhelming majority of those criminals would never have been charged in the United States to start with. Which I argue means that there are a lot of people not in jail who belong in jail here in America. But I digress.
What the Republican establishment fears more than anything else is another Ross Perot. Rove will die and go to hell early before he allows that to happen. This is why Rove and the party establishment have savagely fought to not just marginalize the Tea Party but to destroy it and every candidate it ran and/or was able to get elected.
The mantra being used against Trump is that he is not good for the Party. They are upset because voters are rallying in support of him. Rove, et al did the same thing to Herman Cain and Sarah Palin. Cain and Palin were both candidates who were connecting with all American voters, not just Republicans. Led by Rove, the Republican establishment engaged in a scorched earth campaign against them, just as they did against the Tea Party itself.
Republicans do not give a rat's tail about the American people. They do not give a rat's tail pursuant what we want. They thumb their noses at us just as Obama does. The difference is we do not expect anything better from Obama.
Republicans are leading an "around the clock" assault against Trump that is reminiscent of the liberal media's reporting on the Middle East War when Bush was in office. They are calumniators of the highest order.
Pursuant to the Republican establishment playing payola with blacks, it goes like this. Republicans give a boatload of money to various blacks who claim they will use the money to bring black votes into the Republican Party. The end result is that blacks do not vote Republican and the blacks who received said money pocket it. It is an approved scam that permits the Republican establishment to make a show of reaching out.
If Rove, et al were interested in blacks voting for Republicans they would be truthful. They would stop blathering about what the Republican Party has historically done for blacks and start legislating in way that was sans a color-coded message and inclusive of an American message.
Blacks are not going to vote for Republicans in any meaningful numbers no matter how much history you throw at them. If that were all it took, blacks would have never stopped voting for Republicans.
Donald Trump is being attacked by the Republican hierarchy for telling truths that are important to the American people. Republicans are lying and misleading blacks by animating the same lies blacks have been told by Democrats for the past 50 years, i.e., blacks are victims and if they vote for them they'll make special dispensations for them.
Blacks do not need special dispensation, they need the truth. Special dispensation is just another way of saying you and I get the shaft.

Obama Idolizes Killers At Planned Parenthood
from Doofiegirl on 07/20/2015 04:00 PM0
I'm typically ahead of the curve of social issues, and I am very seldom far from the front of the line when it comes to politics as a whole. And while it may appear as though I am patting myself on the back, believe me when I say I derive no pleasure from being right in this instance.
Penny Starr of CNSNews reported that Gary Bauer, president of American Values said on Friday June 20, 2014: "This ought to be the epitaph of [the Obama] administration: In the last five years under this president more babies have been aborted than jobs have been created. Now that is a good summary of this president; few things make Barack Obama more passionate than abortion on demand." (Bauer on Obama's Record: More Babies Aborted Than Jobs Created; 6/20/14)
Based on numbers compiled by the Guttmacher Institute for the year ending 2008, and extrapolated forward to present, approximately 6.6 million babies have been murdered by abortion during Obama's time in the White House. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) seasonally-adjusted employment number, over the same period the number of jobs created by Obama shows an increase of 3.66 million as of May 2014. Also, according to the BLS, the number of non-seasonally-adjusted employment numbers as of January 2014 that Obama has created amounted to 5.96 million jobs.
That is one heck of a record of accomplishment. But it is keeping with Obama's ideology that babies should be murdered if their parents are below a certain income level.
But I warned people what to expect. On February 15, 2012, in my Daily Rant titled "The Obama's Are Murderers," I wrote: Obama is preening and thumping his chest. His sycophants are applauding him and literally chanting his name. His wife is doing the late night television circuit, wallowing on the floor for Ellen Degeneres, pulling ropes, and so on – you know – behaving more like a puerile high school gymnast than like the First Lady of the United States is expected to. She has been seen doing everything but wrestling animals in the White House Rose Garden, and who knows, that may be next. But, that is all window dressing, designed to keep people from thinking about her husband as a murderer. That's right, he's a murderer and he is as much responsible for the murder of innocent children, specifically black children, as the KKK. ... Michelle Obama is not only complicit in her husband's efforts to "fundamentally change America," but she is complicit in his commitment to slaughter unborn children – and at that to specifically target and slaughter the black unborn. ... When I see Obama and his wife I see not only communists, intent on dismantling our country, but I see murderers. How ironic that Michelle Obama, who is shown swilling food and drink, and who treats being First Lady like her personal American Express Black Credit Card (arguably the most prestigious of credit cards) – is supposedly pushing anti-obesity for children, as her husband fights to maintain rigid laws that oppose saving children aborted alive and that allow partial birth abortions.
Penny Starr also noted Bauer revealed that during Obama's 2008 and 2012 campaigns, he "sought to have the phrase changed in the Democrat Party Platform on abortion from Abortions should be safe, legal and rare in 2004 to the Democrat Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to choose a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay."
Another trademark of uber-liberal socialists like Lord Obama is complete disregard for human life – especially the lives of the elderly, physically challenged and the unborn. Or in Obama's case, even the "Live-born abortion victims." He claimed his reason for not supporting SB1093, the "Born Alive Infant Protection Act," was the measure didn't include the "life and health of the mother" provision.
A question that begs an answer is where, exactly, does the threat to the mother lie in said infant protection? Interestingly enough, Obama refused to support two bans which did include exceptions for safety of the mother. So his refusal to support anti-partial-birth abortion bills HB382 and SB230 comes as no surprise.
He also refused to support SB1095, which creates a cause of action for harm or neglect that comes to a child "born-alive" after a labor-induced abortion. Add to that his "no" vote on SB1661, also part of the "Abortion Alive Protection Act," which created the "Induced Birth Infant Liability Act." (Darth Democrat; 11/16/04)
Obama may personally hold deep-seated animus toward whites as attested to by those he appointed to key positions in his administration, of which Valerie Jarrett, Van Jones, and Eric Holder, to mention but three, (the fact that Van Jones was so over-the-top that Obama was forced to have Jones resign), but he loves the whites at Planned Parenthood. Going so far as to say that "Planned Parenthood does good work" and invoking God to bless them for their work. Asking God to bless Planned Parenthood for the good work they do is tantamount to having Hitler elevated to the head of the Protestant Church in Germany because he exterminated Jews.
Considering that since 1973, abortion has reduced the black population by over 25 percent and that the number one killer of blacks is abortion, and that the most dangerous place for a black child is in its mother's womb. So, yes, Obama may have deep resentment against whites, but he is all for them murdering black babies. It's black wannabe-thugs killed by someone protecting themselves that he objects to.
Nor does Obama object to the fact that black women are encouraged to reduce themselves to the level of cats and dogs – the difference being instead of having them spayed, they repeatedly have babies ripped and sucked from their uteruses by suction hoses similar to vacuum hoses.
I'm not surprised that there have been more abortions under Obama than jobs created, but that's because I did my homework starting in 2003. And if more people had been listening to me from 2004 forward, we wouldn't be having this conversation today. But when a skin color trumps common sense – the likes of Obama is what we end up with.

Re: Confederate Flag Controversy
from H.D.Rider on 07/19/2015 12:27 AMThe Morrill Tariff, which more than doubled the average tariff rate (from 15% to 32.6% initially), was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives during the 1859–60 session of Congress, and was the cornerstone of the Republican Party's economic policy. It then passed the U.S. Senate, and was signed into law by President James Buchanan on March 2, 1861, two days before Lincoln's inauguration, where he threatened war on any state that failed to collect the new tax. At the time, the tariff accounted for at least 90 percent of all federal tax revenues. The Morrill Tariff therefore represented a more than doubling of the rate of federal taxation! Jefferson Davis proclaimed that the economy of the Confederacy would be based on free trade. The South controled most of the shipping ports.
I assume you don't live in the South or for that matter know anything about the South and the War of Northern Aggression. What if the South had control of Congress and decided all States taxes not Southern would double. That wouldn't piss you off?
We Sons of Confederate Veterans pledge ourselves to perpetuate the memory of our Confederate Ancestors, who by their sacrifices established the Confederate states of America and fought to preserve their declared independence.

"To have a flag that symbolizes oppression flying by any state in an official capacity is a disgrace to our country." If that statement were true, I'd agree with you. But it's not !
