Prophetic Indicators by Roseann Salanitri o
from Doofiegirl on 09/09/2015 03:52 PMThe prophetic signs that we are living in what has been termed the "latter days" or "end times" seem to be erupting all around us. Pulpits are alive with predictions about what will come next or that all the conditions for the return of Christ have already been fulfilled. While I wholeheartedly admit that "most" of the conditions prophesized do exist, there are several significant ones that still remain unfulfilled.
First, the ones that I believe have been fulfilled are as follows; however, they are not in order of importance and are not meant to be a comprehensive list:
Israel is once again a nation (Ezekiel 37:11-12).
There has been an exponential increase in knowledge (Daniel 9:27).
People are running to and fro (Daniel 12:4).
On the wing of the abomination that makes desolate (The Dome of the Rock; Matthew 24:15-16 and Daniel 9:27. Also see Ezekiel 8:6-16 for clarification.).
Nation rising against nation (Matthew 24:7).
Famines, pestilences, and an increase in earthquakes (Matthew 24:7).
People being hedonistic and narcissistic (2 Timothy 3:1-7).
A falling away from the faith (2 Thess. 2:2).
Doctrines of demons and strange religions (1 Timothy 4:1).
Increase of liars (1 Timothy 4:1).
People are lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, children disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal and despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, lovers of pleasure, and having the form of godliness but denying its power (2 Timothy 3:2).
Evil imposters will be unchecked (2 Timothy 3:13).
Apathy and anarchy will coexist (Matthew 24:12).
In the process of being fulfilled:
All the nations are gathering together to battle against Jerusalem – with the exception of Judah who will fight with Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2, 14).
Still to be fulfilled:
The mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-18).
The anti-Christ is to be revealed (2 Thessalonians 2:3).
Given that there are so many prophetic indicators that have already been fulfilled, we would be prudent to heed the words in 1 Thessalonians 5:4 that tell us that we should remain alert and not be caught off guard, as if caught by a thief in the night. Simply put, we are to keep our eyes and ears open to what is happening around us and how it fulfills prophecies – especially now that so many prophecies have already been fulfilled.
But what can we expect to see happen if we are the last generation to walk the earth before Christ returns?
Among prophecies in the Book of Revelation that deal with climatic changes, the two unfulfilled prophecies listed above tell us what we can expect that will be easily definable. However, there is much that must happen before these two particular prophecies come to fruition – and most of them center on identifying the two beasts in Revelation, Chapter 13; the woman sitting on the beast in Chapter 17; and Chapter 18:3, 21. Without applying the information in these chapters in concert and connecting the spiritual and political realms, it would be hard to develop a full picture of what the circumstances are that empower the anti-Christ.
In Chapters 13 we learn that the anti-Christ is preceded by a world leader who receives a mortal wound that is healed. He then empowers the "image" of the beast, whom we know as the anti-Christ to the point where the world worships him. It is interesting that from this point forward, the term "image" of the beast is only used. To be sure, there are many possibilities that will fulfill this criteria – including those we cannot begin to imagine. I explore one of them in my book "Witness: Part One" where these prophecies are fulfilled using clones, which are dispensable and can further the illusion that someone has been killed and resurrected. Regardless of the details, the circumstances that pave the way for the anti-Christ call for a collapse of the world monetary standard (presently the US dollar), which he brilliantly transforms into a worldwide credit/debit system that most likely is heavily reliant on technology and a worldwide identification system similar to our national social security number. It should be noted that the man who designs and is able to implement this new system will be financially gifted.
But there is more to be considered that is contained in Chapter 17. It describes a woman sitting on a beast with seven heads and ten horns that comes out of the sea. My interpretation differs from most you have heard – and it necessary to say that these are my opinions only and may not be the opinion of the entity publishing this work. I believe that the seven heads are seven geographical locations – or the seven continents, representing the entire planet. They work in harmony with the beast and thereby give the beast his power (Rev. 17:13). To further support this, I believe that "Mystery Babylon" (Rev. 17:5) is the first one world government that built the Tower of Babel. I can additionally support this with Rev. 17:13 that says they are of one mind – in other words, they are working together. Verse 15 supports that interpretation by defining the "waters" that the woman emerges from as being the nations of the world. Rev. 18:3 also supports this interpretation as well as telling us that there is a time of great prosperity that results from this new worldwide system – at least for some.
To recap: one powerful world leader receives a mortal wound and is healed. He gives power to another world leader that is referred to as being his image. There is a worldwide economic collapse that paves the way for the anti-Christ to institute a new world wide monetary system. At the time this new system is implemented, a short time of world peace comes into existence and creates a new world order that is run by 10 men, who give power to the beast.
How does this affect Christians if they are not raptured or if they become Christians after the rapture (a point that will not be covered here)? Since Christians know that they are not to participate in a world monetary system that requires receiving a mark of some kind, they will become the enemies of the state and consequently outlaws. The argument will be that the "mark" will eliminate money laundering from drugs and other nefarious means, including economic fraud of every kind. Hence, persecution of Christians will seem well intentioned for the greater good, since they are the identifiable stumbling blocks for world harmony.
In conclusion, although the anti-Christ can also be identified by the seven-year peace treaty he brokers between Israel and its enemies (which is also easy to imagine in our present day), he will also be a man with great financial gifts.
So, what do we look for in the anti-Christ? Certainly not the bumbling miscreant occupying the White House today – although at times his reprehensible behavior seemed to indicate he was applying for the part. Conversely, the anti-Christ will be very charismatic – to the point where even some Christians may be fooled. He will also be a good negotiator – good enough to negotiate a treaty between Israel and its enemies. And he will be financially gifted with the ability to design and implement a successful world monetary system. In other verses we learn that at first he lives up to all his expectations and is a friend to Israel but turns around after 3 1/2 years( Dan. 11:28). Dan. 11: 37ff also tells us that he is a narcissist and does not regard any known god or any woman. The fact that he "turns" will make it very difficult to identify him when he first comes into power if you don't understand the circumstances that launch him into power.
In conclusion, what are we to do? Again, the Bible tells us what we are to do. 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6 says we are to watch that the time spoken of should not overtake us like a thief in the night. And the angel speaking to John in Revelation 19:10 tells us something important. He tells us: "Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." I will end with that by encouraging you not to be intimidated by studying prophecy and the Book of Revelation. Rev. 1:3 tells you: "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it." Be blessed, don't be caught off guard, and do that by studying prophecy and relating it to the circumstances in the world today and the political realm. If you do, chances are you will not be deceived by the anti-Christ.

Public Schools: Overpaid Teachers and Uneducated Students by Mychal Massie
from Doofiegirl on 09/08/2015 08:05 PMEnd of summer is upon us and with same comes the Erebusic Satanic ritual notably called return to public school. Public schools since the early 1970s have served to prepare public school teachers for comfortable retirements and prepare the students relegated to them to lowered expectations and conformity to social Marxism.
If more money were the cure to the educational malaise, public schools would be graduating entire classes of Einstiens and Socrates. But instead they are promoting students grade-to-grade who cannot make change unless the cash register tells them the correct amount and who are by definition illiterate in geography, literature, and factual history.
According to the National Center for Education Statistics, Institute of Education Sciences, Public School Expenditures (Last Updated 2015) from 2000-01 to 2011-12, expenditures per student in public elementary and secondary schools increased by 11 percent, after adjusting for inflation. This amount peaked in 2010-11 at $11,332. (nces.ed.gov) The total expenditures for public elementary and secondary schools in the U.S. amounted to $621 billion in 2011-12.
Spending more money hasn't improved student's ability to speak, read, comprehend, and do math, on a legitimate level consistent with their grade.
Public school children can tell you where to get an abortion and how much it will cost. They can tell you were to get birth control and condoms. They can tell you what actor or singer is sleeping with whom and they can recite the words of rap songs and have a candid (though less than illuminating) discussion about Dancing With the Stars and/or Star Search.
But those are not marketable skills consistent with earning a living wage, which explains why liberals are pushing for $15 minimum wage to flip hamburgers and toss French fries.
Most public school children born in 1990 graduated from public school in 2008 believing Muslims are our friends and it was America's fault that Muslims murdered over 3,000 Americans in the World Trade Center terrorist attacks. Children graduating from college in 2012 believe America is an evil colonialist empire oppressing poor people around the world.
Children in public schools are being taught that phrases like "baa, baa black sheep" are racist and insensitive. They're being taught that words such as "Master's Degree, postmasters, and master suites," are racist and insensitive, and bespeak of white privilege. (See: Ten Things You Didn't Know Where Racist; John Leo; National Review; 8/20/2015)
Your child going off to college is a proud moment until the child returns home an anarchist condemning the traditions that made America great.
The overwhelming majority of public school teachers I have met fall into two categories: 1) those who boast about the job they do and how they would do more but the system won't let them; 2) those who blame parents for a child's poor performance. The latter omits, of course, that the input of parents is not welcome today.
David Horowitz, the editor of FrontPage Magazine and founder of The Freedom Center has spent the better part of his adult life addressing the threat Marxists and their ideology pose to college aged minds. He points out that the Marxists of the 1960s did not go away – they went into higher education.
For the privilege of a lifelong debt of college loans and a high likelihood of a degree that proves worthless, young people are graduating thoroughly converted to secular humanism, hatred for America, ignorant of factual history, and ashamed of being white.
If black, they graduate wearing victimology on their sleeves and with a hatred for whites that cannot be overstated.
Public school children are learning the equivalent of nothing when compared to the knowledge those of us graduating pre-1970 were expected to know. Children are however being taught that pernicious debauchery is normal and natural. They are taught that not excepting homosexuality and not admitting that being white is too enjoy privilege denied persons of color is amoral and bigoted.
Public school students will not be taught the truth of Benghazi and they will have their grades lowered if they do not conform to their teacher's cultural Marxism.
Students will be able to bring their babies to the school daycare center but they will be expelled if they bow heads and openly give God thanks for their meals. Children will be tutored in how to deceive and lie to their parents but they will not be permitted to carry a Bible to their classes.
They will conclude a school year without knowing who their state representatives are and in most instances unable to identify five generals from World War II; not knowing significant historical landmarks in their areas of domicile; not being able to name the first ten presidents, and not being able to name the state capitols of ten states.
And before the teachers reading this decide to be offended by the truth, munch on this factoid. A National Geographic Test in 2002 found that 11 percent of graduates aged 18 to 24 couldn't locate the U.S. on a map. And more students knew the island featured in the last season's "Survivor" than could find Israel.
And we wonder why young people are growing up without morals, without an appreciation and love for America, no sense of patriotism, angry, and filled with despair.

To Be Continued… – Sunday Thought for the Day by Mychal Massie
from Doofiegirl on 09/06/2015 03:44 PMThe following was written for September 6, 2015, "Our Daily Bread" by Dave McCasland.
****************************
Growing up in the 1950s, I often attended the Saturday matinee at a local movie theater. Along with cartoons and a feature film, there was an adventure serial that always ended with the hero or heroine facing an impossible situation. There seemed to be no way out, but each episode concluded with the words "To Be Continued . . . "
The apostle Paul was no stranger to life-threatening situations. He was imprisoned, beaten, stoned, and shipwrecked as he sought to take the good news of Jesus Christ to people. He knew that someday he would die, but he never considered that to be the end of the story. Paul wrote to the followers of Jesus in Corinth, "When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: 'Death has been swallowed up in victory' " (1 Cor. 15:54). The passion of Paul's life was telling others that Jesus our Savior gave His life on the cross so that through faith in Him we can receive forgiveness for all our sins and have eternal life.
We are not like the movie hero who always escapes certain death. The day will come when our earthly lives will end either by death or Christ's return. But by God's grace and mercy, the story of your life and mine is "to be continued."
Father, we praise You for Your gift of eternal life and say with Paul, "Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 15:57).
In life and death, Christ is our hope.
INSIGHT:
Paul wrote chapter 15 of 1 Corinthians in response to those in the church at Corinth who denied that Jesus rose bodily from the dead. This chapter is divided into two sections. In verses 1-34, Paul discusses the reasons to believe that Jesus did in fact walk out of His tomb. In verses 35-57, Paul talks about the need for and the nature of our resurrected bodies. These verses lead to Paul's concluding point in verse 58. While waiting for our resurrection, "give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." J.R. Hudberg
READ: 1 Corinthians 15:50-58
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. http://mychal-massie.com/premium/to-be-continued-sunday-thought-for-the-day-2/
Young People Today
from DocFreeman on 09/05/2015 07:14 PMChecking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the much older lady that she should bring her own grocery bags, because plastic bags are not good for the environment.
The woman apologized to the young girl and explained, "We didn't have this 'green thing' back in my earlier days."
The young clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations."
The older lady said that she was right - our generation didn't have the "green thing" in its day. The older lady went on to explain:
Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled. But we didn't have the "green thing" back in our day.
Grocery stores bagged our groceries in brown paper bags that we reused for numerous things. Most memorable besides household garbage bags was the use of brown paper bags as book covers for our school books. This was to ensure that public property (the books provided for our use by the school) was not defaced by our scribbling. Then we were able to personalize our books on the brown paper bags. But, too bad we didn't do the "green thing" back then.
We walked up stairs because we didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time we had to go two blocks.
But she was right. We didn't have the "green thing" in our day.
Back then we washed the baby's diapers because we didn't have the throw away kind. We dried clothes on a line, not in an energy-gobbling machine burning up 220volts. Wind and solar power really did dry our clothes back in our early days. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing.
But that young lady is right; we didn't have the "green thing" back in our day.
Back then we had one TV, or radio, in the house -- not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief (remember them?), not a screen the size of the state of Montana. In the kitchen we blended and stirred by hand because we didn't have electric machines to do everything for us. When we packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, we used wadded up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, we didn't fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on human power. We exercised by working so we didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity.
But she's right; we didn't have the "green thing" back then.
We drank from a fountain when we were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time we had a drink of water. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blade in a r azor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull.
But we didn't have the "green thing" back then.
Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or walked instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service in the family's $45,000 SUV or van, which cost what a whole house did before the "green thing." We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And we didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 23,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest burger joint.
But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful we old folks were just because we didn't have the "green thing" back then?
This makes you wonder about all the other 49 States especially the ones with Democrats in controll.
from DocFreeman on 09/05/2015 07:08 PM8 Texas counties list more voters than residents
No law prevents localities from having more registered voters than voting-age residents, and eight Texas counties do.
Now a vote-watch group accuses the counties of violating the National Voting Rights Act by failing to purge dead, duplicate and ineligible voters.
"We are deeply concerned (that) voter rolls contain substantial numbers of ineligible voters," True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht stated in a letter to the eight Texas counties.
The counties — Loving, Brooks, McMullen, Roberts, Irion, Jim Hogg, Culberson and Polk — list a combined 52,298 registered voters. But the latest U.S. Census data show only 49,457 voting-age residents in those counties.
County officials told Watchdog.org they are reviewing their voter lists in response to TTV's threat of legal action.
Mary Slavin, deputy clerk of rural Roberts County, said she was perplexed by the findings. "We're a small county. When someone dies, I know it as quick as the family knows, and remove that person (from the voter rolls) as soon as I can," she said.
TTV spokesman Logan Churchwell said some of the bloating of voter rolls could be due to simple clerical errors. "Duplicate registrations occur when there are slight differences in names — such as 'McDougle' versus 'Mc Dougle,'" he noted.
Churchwell also blames "imperfect" federal law for inflating voter rolls. For example, voters who skip two election cycles over four years remain on active status, as long as verification letters sent by election offices do not bounce back. The law assumes the registration is still valid, without positive verification. Churchwell said the recent nullification of Texas' photo ID law opens the door for mischief on Election Day.
True the Vote has given the counties 90 days to produce correct registration data or face legal action.
The Democratic Party, the American Civil Liberties Union, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund and other "progressive" groups have countered TTV's efforts.
"NVRA does not require the number of registered voters in a county to be below a specific threshold," the groups note.
But True the Vote says where there's smoke, fire is nearby. A 2012 court challenge by TTV prompted Indiana's legislature to pass tighter list maintenance laws.
Except for Polk County near Houston, the other seven Texas counties identified by True the Vote have stagnant or declining populations.
Loving County, the smallest county in the United States, lists 106 registered voters, but just 69 voting-age residents. That's a 154 percent registration rate, the highest in the state, according to TTV figures.
Section 8 of the Voting Rights Act requires every county to publicly disclose "all records concerning the implementation of programs and activities conducted for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy and currency of official lists of eligible voters."
"Counties need to adopt the idea that they own their own data," Churchwell said. "If there's better data (than TTV has), then bring it."
The Texas Secretary of State's office, which was conducting a training session for county election officials this week in Austin, declined to comment.

Another Wall and Not a Peep From the Israel Haters
from DocFreeman on 09/05/2015 07:05 PMFiled under Freedoms, Israel no comments
Yes another wall and where, oh where, are the Israel haters?
Until a week ago I was under the impression at the last count there were more than 45 walls separating countries and territories. Now it seems there are more being built elsewhere in Europe.
In Hungary the government is rushing to complete a 109-mile-long barbed wire border fence along its southern frontier with Serbia.
The Hungarian government hopes this new fence will stem the flow of migrants and refugees traveling through Hungary in what has been referred to as the West Balkans route. In 2015, Hungary often serves as an entry point to the European Union and border control-free travel in the Schengen area for those crossing from Greece and the Balkans.
In the immediate future, however, the fence may not have the desired effect. News of its construction has led refugees to race across the border into Hungary.
Earlier this year, Bulgaria announced a plan for a border fence that will eventually span 100 miles of its border with southern neighbour Turkey.
Bulgaria's wall is not far from a wall built by Greece in 2012. This wall, constructed with the intent of keeping out migrants and refugees crossing from Turkey, pales in comparison to the more recent walls. It covers just 6.5 mile of land border with Turkey (barriers were put up along the Evros river as well) and failed to stop the growing number of migrants who reached Greece by boat.
In the French town of Calais, the British government recently spent $10 million to erect improved fencing around the Channel Tunnel, a train link between France and Britain which has recently attracted relatively large numbers of migrants. Pascal Aerts, who leads the police assigned to the migrants in France, told the BBC that the fences would only push the problem elsewhere, most likely to ports in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Barriers around the Spanish enclaves of Ceuta and Mellila in Morocco, significantly expanded upon in 2005, have done little to stem Europe's overall migrant issues.
The walls coming up in Europe aren't all about migrants and refugees.
In Ukraine, an enormous, $250 million plan to seal up the 1,200-mile-long border with Russia is born of fear of Moscow's destabilizing influence. Estonia has also pledged to build a fence along almost 70 miles of its border with Russia.
In January this year it was announced that Saudi Arabia was building a 600-Mile (965 klms) 'Great Wall' to shield itself From ISIS? Not a peep from anywhere. This is to add to their wall along part of its 1,800 kilometre border with Yemen.
It is a structure made of pipeline three metres (10 ft) high, filled with concrete and supported on posts and fitted with electronic detection equipment.
The border fence cuts through mountains, deserts and sea borders provide visibility and operational awareness to Saudi Border Guard by the use of cutting-edge technology, which includes installation of sophisticated radar systems along the extensive border.
It is designed to stop Al Qaeda attacks.
Saudi Arabia also has a 550-mile ( 885 kilometres) high-tech fence to seal off its troubled northern neighbour, Iraq.
It is a barrier equipped with ultraviolet night-vision cameras, buried sensor cables, thousands of miles of barbed wire, snakes across the vast and remote desert frontier between the countries.
Richard Spencer, in the The Telegraph says:
When a raiding party from Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant attacked a Saudi border post last week, it was no mere hit on a desert outpost.
The jihadists were launching an assault on the new, highest-profile effort by Saudi Arabia to insulate itself from the chaos engulfing its neighbours.
Much of the area on the Iraqi side is now controlled by Isil, which regards the ultimate capture of Saudi Arabia, home to the "Two Holy Mosques" of Mecca and Medina, as a key goal.
The proposal had been discussed since 2006, at the height of the Iraqi civil war, but work began in September last year after Isil's charge through much of the west and north of the country gave it a substantial land border with the Kingdom to the south.
The border zone now includes five layers of fencing with watch towers, night-vision cameras, and radar cameras.
In July Turkey revealed it has plans to build concrete wall along its a 560-mile border with Syria to fend off the threat of ISIS attacks.
The estimated cost is a mere $1.5billion, which apparently will include airships to fly several hundred metres high to monitor the frontier.
It also plans to put in two fences separated by a military patrol road at the border, complete with observation towers and moats at some locations.
Again not a peep from the Israel haters... but then Israel it seems is the only country to build an apartheid wall.

Raynard Jackson: ‘Shaking Down’ The Republican Tree by Mychal Massie
from Doofiegirl on 09/03/2015 07:20 PMI have always been one to believe that anything I could dream, I could achieve as long as my goals and objectives were in line with God's will and His plan for me.
I am a Christian, an unapologetic conservative, and I am a strict Constructionist, (i.e., I believe in a close and narrow reading and interpretation of the Constitution). If the aforementioned qualities most closely identify me with the Republican Party so be it; I am still first and foremost a Christian and a strict constructionist conservative.
You will notice that I didn't describe myself as a color nor did I describe myself as a member of a race-based group, nor did I insist on a special seat at "the table" because of my skin color.
Which brings me to Raynard Jackson of Raynard Jackson and Associates LLC internationally recognized political consulting, government affairs, and PR firm based in Washington, DC.
In an August 31, 2015 published column titled "The Illusion of Inclusion in the Republican Party," Jackson opines what he views as a "total lack of engagement with the black community" by the Republican Party. He attacks the Republican Party (to which he presumably also belongs) as ignoring black people who "are begging Republicans to give them a reason to vote for them."
Jackson believes the Republican Party "has failed to even acknowledge the existence of the black community." His rhetoric is the equivalent of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when they are trying to shakedown a company.
This brings me to my opinion of that's what Jackson deserves for reducing himself to a color. The following may seem to be harsh language, but it is truth and it needs to be said. Jackson, despite all of the photos of him with politicians, athletes, television personalities, etc., which anyone who has made the right size donation also has, is upset because he wants to be a "color-player" and it's not happening.
The "color-player" game goes like this. A person of a particular ethnic persuasion, usually a black person, is given a bundle of money under the guise that they can corral and deliver a considerable number of votes from that ethnic grouping. Tangential to that, said individual also in theory and perhaps in reality, controls that block of votes. The person controlling that block of votes is a de facto power broker in the "color-player" league, if you will, because they can make ethnic candidates believe they have the means to secure them campaign support.
Now Jackson is outraged that the money spent attending banquets, campaign events, and making donations, hasn't paid off as he envisioned. Borrowing from Dr. Martin Luther King's comment, that in America, "the church is still the most segregated major institution in America." Jackson says: "the most segregated major institution in America is the Republican Party. Republicans often confuse diversity and inclusion with having a black on staff." He continues: "Blacks are nowhere to be found when policies and direction of the party or a presidential campaign is concerned."
Interesting he would feel that way; as a self-proclaimed Republican, Jackson should admit that the very fact Republicans had blacks on staff and in key power positions under Presidents Reagan, G.W.H. Bush, and G.W. Bush is far more inclusive than blacks under the Obama administration, but I digress albeit sarcasm is intended.
Jackson represents the mindset that I find deplorable. His complaint is that blacks running as Republicans cannot get the funding, support, blah-blah they believe is needed to make a successful run. I ask you, is that any different than Pat Tommey not getting support when he was challenging the late Arlen Specter? Is that any different than Christine O'Donnell, and dozens of Tea Party candidates who did not get support from the GOP/RNC? Is that any different than Mitch McConnell threatening to blacklist any fundraising company that raised campaign money for Tea Party candidates and then blacklisting the Jamestown Group to prove the point?
Contrary to Jackson's viewpoint the estrangement and exogamy between blacks and Republicans is well known and it has to do with blacks' contempt for all things Republican. If Jackson's mnemonic engine were firing on all cylinders he would acknowledge same.
That notwithstanding, what I find most reprehensible pursuant to Jackson's argument is the idea that skin color trumps reality.
Neither blacks nor anyone else for that manner deserve special dispensation based on skin color. Was the color of their skin a factor when the Karl Rove – Reince Priebus establishment cartel saw to it that Christine O'Donnell, Sharron Angle, and Meg Whitman didn't win?
It is time to end race-based assignations and the prostitution of skin color. It is time for people like Jackson to stop being colors and be Americans. Being an American takes away the "it's because I'm black" argument.
It is also time to confront those like Jackson who were themselves smart enough to find a way to succeed but believe other blacks are not smart enough to understand a clear straightforward message that doesn't include hyphenations, race-based grievances, victimology, and "because I'm black," ad nauseum.
As for Republicans, the Party has lost it way and vision under the Erebusic influence of Karl Rove and Reince Priebus. It is no longer the Party of Reagan and it darn sure isn't the Party of Lincoln pursuant to values and statesmanship.
With that thought in mind, I say why would anyone want to be part of pit of elapidae vipers like them? It is time to extricate the Party from Rove-Priebus and their cabal of establishment henchmen. Barring that it is time to seriously consider a third party with enough support to force the Republican Party out of business or at least into remission.
I condemn the Democrat Party with all of my being, and at this point I see little if any difference between Republicans and them.

Life is fundamental
from Doofiegirl on 09/02/2015 03:28 PM
Has anyone else grown weary of the much too often quoted phrase "Black Lives Matter"?
Why should black lives matter more than white lives or yellow or olive-skinned lives?
And why are we suddenly relegated to simply being "lives"?
We are all people--human beings--and as such we all have distinctive personalities and characteristics that define us as individuals.
According to our venerated Declaration of Independence, we are all created equal. Yet there is a certain element abounding within the boundaries of our own country that strives to make one group more important than another.
It defies every concept upon which the very foundation of our nation was created.
All lives matter regardless of color of skin, level of education and occupation.
Targeting an individual because of a difference in appearance or personality or job or even in regard to the clothes or uniform worn is wrong.
Pure and Simple.
It is not for us to arbitrarily take away a life.
Life is a fundamental, God given right.
We cannot walk upon the streets or enter stores or theaters or shopping malls or gas stations and decide, off the top of our heads, to kill someone because we don't like the look of another person.
If these thoughts or actions were allowed to become reality, what kind of world would we have to live in?
It's time we stopped glorifying one type of people above another and give all people a healthy respect of their lives.
We are not here to get in each other's way.
We are here to strive and grow and to continue to regenerate ourselves on through the next and next generation.
Stirring up racial tensions is not helping us to achieve any of these requirements.
It's creating a sensation for violence and hindering the essential well being of all people.
