Open Legs and Closed Minds : Mike Adams

from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:44 PM

The lawlessness of UNC administrators continues to make headlines across the nation. Most of this lawlessness comes from administrative offices dedicated to promoting "diversity." It is no wonder that most of the fake classes taken by student athletes at UNC were listed under African American Studies. Where we find multiculturalism, we find the denial of objective truth. Where we find the denial of objective truth, we find people who lie and deny it.
Of course we find plenty of lies and deception associated with virtually every activity initiated by the LGBTQIA Office and Women's Resource Center (WRC) at UNCW. The latest lie concerns their core claim to be a "resource" that is open to all students regardless of their backgrounds and beliefs.
The ostensibly inclusive UNCW LGBTQIA Resource Office has a Facebook page, which can be accessed at this link. Note two things: First, the group is listed as a "closed" membership group. Second, both Katie Peel, the director of the WRC, and Amy Schlag, director of the LGBTQIA Resource Office, have the authority to deny people membership in the group. The two were "married" in the State of Massachusetts. Now, they are partnering in their efforts to deny university resources to people who do not share their beliefs.
The UNCW WRC also has a Facebook page, which can be accessed at this link. Note two things: First, the group is listed as a "closed" membership group. Second, both Katie Peel, the director of the WRC, and Amy Schlag, director of the LGBTQIA Resource Office, have the authority to deny people membership in the group. Why are these two soul mates not listed as co-directors for each of the offices? https://www.facebook.com/login.php?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook....
It is also worth noting that the WRC provides $1000 awards for members of the university community who demonstrate "inclusiveness." In other words, they exclude people from the page for the center and then use the center's funds to financially reward people who demonstrate the qualities of inclusiveness that they lack. Both the closed group and the inclusiveness awards are supported by taxpayers. It's a lot like paying someone to throw trash on the ground and then paying someone else to pick it up.                                                                                                                                                    http://townhall.com/columnists/mikeadams/2014/11/04/open-legs-and-c... http://townhall.com/columnists/mikeadams/2014/11/04/open-legs-and-c...

Why Christian Values Still Matter : Armstrong Williams

from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:40 PM

While America was undoubtedly founded upon a bedrock of religious freedom it is equally true that the Christian faith has been probably the greatest contributor the social fabric of this country. Even as the country seems to drift away from Christian values, there are still far more people in Church on Sunday than at the football stadium. Despite the fact that gay marriage and out of wedlock births have become more prevalent, the overwhelming majority of Americans continue to celebrate the Christian holidays. In fact the reason why many homosexuals seem to have fought for the right to marry is not because they merely want the same social benefits and legal rights as heterosexual married couples, but they also crave the spiritual and community benefits bestowed upon marriage by the Christian faith.
The debate over whether one can be both a practicing homosexual and a devout Christian has been waged from the pulpits and in the media very intensely over the years. Many Christian see such practices as homosexuality, abortion and sex outside of marriage as sinful and something that Christian values militate against. Many homosexuals in the Church feel that God loves sinners, for who is without sin at all? At the end of the day Christian values still matter because even those among us who are not Christian rely upon the Christian values among the rest of us. They rely upon Christian kindness, patience, charity and chastity – for it is those values that create spaces, whether in soup kitchens, homes for the sick and elderly, or safe places of refuge for everyone.
In fact Christian values act as a sort of spiritual inoculation for the country. Like Vaccines, values prevent the spread of harm, both physically and spiritually. The value which upholds the sanctity of life protects against murder, mayhem, and physical abuse of people at the hands of their neighbors. The value which upholds the sanctity of marriage preserves families and affords children the opportunity to grow up in a loving, stable, environment surrounded by parents who are committed by faith to work towards a higher spiritual union. The sanctity of marriage helps preserve bloodlines and reduces the confusion and hurt that arises when parentage becomes uncertain. The value which says one must not covet ones neighbor's belongings, inoculates society against the ravages of jealousy, theft and enmity.               http://townhall.com/columnists/armstrongwilliams/2015/06/09/why-christian-values-still-matter-n2009771?utm_source=thdaily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl&newsletterad=                                         http://townhall.com/columnists/armstrongwilliams/2015/06/09/why-christian-values-still-matter-n2009771/page/2

REPUBLICANS BRACE FOR HURRICANE DONALD : By Jonathan Easley

from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:35 PM

Republicans are increasingly worried that a Donald Trump presidential candidacy could drag down their strongest field in recent memory.
Check this out:
"He's an unwelcome distraction," said Republican strategist Ron Bonjean. "We already have so many candidates vying for attention, and he brings a sideshow element to the whole thing." Trump, a billionaire real estate mogul and reality TV star, has scheduled a "major" announcement from Trump Tower in New York City on June 16. Speculation is rampant that he will enter the White House race, one day after former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) is virtually certain to make his own candidacy official.
Some Republicans remain skeptical that Trump will actually join the field, however. He has flirted with running in every cycle since 2000, most notably in 2012, when he was briefly at the top of the GOP polls. But he's never taken the plunge.
Trump and his aides insist he's serious this go-round.                                                                                                       http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/244358-republicans-brace-for-hurricane-donald

WHO TOLD YOU THAT? : by Bradlee Dean

from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:33 PM

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American people believe is false." William Casey, CIA Director, 1981
Over and over again at each event that I speak at across the country, I always highlight how this administration is using the Saul Alinsky tactics against the American people.
"Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have." – Saul Alinsky, "Rules for Radicals: A Practical Primer for Realistic Radicals," p. 126
This past week, we saw Hillary Clinton had only 50 women show up at one of her presidential fundraising ca.... Ultimately, she allowed men in due to the pitiful turnout. Yet, Americans are told that she is leading the presidential candidate polls. America, who told you that?
This, of course, comes to you directly from America's tolerated "useful idiots" that work for the lying, state-controlled media. If you think, I'm joking about the media, just take a look at the following quotes.
"Our job is to give people not what they want, but what we decide they ought to have." -Richard Salant, Former President of CBS News
"The New York Times is deliberately pitched to the liberal point of view." -Herman Dismore, Foreign Editor of the NY Times
"We are going to impose our agenda on the coverage by dealing with issues and subjects that we choose to deal with." -Richard M. Cohen, Senior Producer of CBS Political News
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4rkeAFEjzQ
I also try to reiterate that people need to be told things twice (people need to be told things twice) (Genesis 22:1, Exodus 3:4 ), especially in America because we are inundated with lie after lie 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
So, here we go with a bit of kickback so you can understand how things work concerning those who mean to rule over you with the use of the state-controlled media.
If you remember, CNN's president resigned 2 years ago due to the low viewership it received. Maybe this will shed some light as to why he resigned. Amber Lyon, former news anchor for CNN, said she was ordered to report fake stories, delete unfriendly stories adverse to the Obama administration and construct stories in specific manners while working for the left-wing network. Lyon said CNN was paid by U.S. and foreign governments for reporting on some events and not reporting on others. She also stated that the Obama Administration pays for CNN content. The New York Times actually blurted out the truth in their confusion (to their credit, I might add) that all information coming out of the Obama administration is first vetted.
Or what about MSNBC? I'm sorry I even have to bring them into the equation, but their slogan during the election campaign happened to be "Lean Forward," which is directly derived from the communist playbook. MSNBC parades people like radical lesbian Rachel Maddow, the shameful uncivil rights want-to-be leader Al Sharpton and Chris "it's a terrible place to be when you're brains are in someone else's head" Matthews.
MSNBC's ratings can't get any lower than a snake's belly, and that is just where they happen to be right now. These outlets are the ones that are attempting to remind those who do not have enough common sense to know right from wrong that Barack Hussein Obama has the support of the majority of Americans.
Nothing could be further from the truth!
Don't you remember that in the 2010 elections, 63 Democratic representatives were unseated?                                      http://patriotupdate.com/articles/who-told-you-that/

CAN I GET A COURTESY FLUSH PLEASE? By Joe Messina

from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:24 PM

With all the news swirling around (see what I did there) in the media this week there was little attention paid to what's behind the recent drop in Hillary's numbers. Why, you ask? Because it seems like people are so polarized by male-female (can I still use those terms?) white-black, gay-straight (to name just a few) that we must, at all costs, ignore any and all evidence that just might convict a Dem. The Left is so desperate to hang something on a potential Republican presidential candidate that with some heavy digging they found out a few things:
Scott walker has credit card debt! He could owe as much as a combined $100 thousand to various credit card companies. Walker has given almost $375 thousand of his salary back to taxpayers. He has 2 kids in college, parents who live with him, and can you believe... a mortgage. You would think a rich, white Republican (as they all are) would have paid cash for his house, or at least his car? Nope, he has a car payment.
Let's sum it all up... He has a mortgage, 2 kids in college, a car payment, parents living with him, major credit card debt, and a net worth of NEGATIVE $72 thousand! That can't be right. He's a Republican. Ask any low information voter and they will tell you, all Republicans are rich, old, white guys who hate women!
Scott Walker is the lowest net worth candidate running for president! Bernie Sanders is just above him with a net worth of $330 thousand. Isn't it interesting that we know so much about Walker's finance, family, and background in such a short period of time? All of his information was easily accessible.                                        http://therealside.com/2015/06/can-i-get-a-courtesy-flush-please/

GAYS AND GREEN SHOES : by Dustin Detroit

from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:21 PM

The unhappy lefty press has decided to pick on the women of Fox News because...well I don't know, maybe it's just time to bully someone. All that hate has to find an outlet somewhere. Cute blonde girls, who dress well, have a nice time at social gatherings, move through their days easily and with grace have always been victims of the unhappy. Remember Junior High? Hell, anything nice and beautiful is hated by a certain segment of our population; Megyn Kelly stands with museums and classrooms containing white kids in the corner of shame created by the unhappy, perpetually thirteen left.
The always unhappy left. I began to think about this while visiting a friend. His wife was watching Maddow when I dropped by to play a few surf tunes with an old pal. Rachel must be very smart, a Rhodes Scholar who earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in Politics from Oxford. Whoa, this girl is over the top if you are into the soft sciences.
She just looks so unhappy.
Being a woman didn't make her happy, so she dresses and behaves like a man. Could be genetics; I'm willing to concede that a percentage of people are by nature distorted from the norm. I wouldn't be happy if I were one of them. I think she makes 2 million a year. I wouldn't be unhappy if I made that. Are people who make 2 million a year oppressed in America? As Obama likes to sneer, I'm just saying.
She might make a good looking girl. I bring this up to raise awareness and start people thinking. That sort of excuse works any time the unhappy left uses it. I don't know if she is a good looking girl because...well, who knows why. I assume she likes who she is, what she made of herself.
She just looks so unhappy.
Unhappy is the plight of the left. Because gay is the new black, Rachel Maddow is allowed permanent unhappy status. We can dismiss the black problem easily; stop voting mindlessly for the party that tore your families apart, shoved you into ghettos, fought against your emancipation, and sponsored the KKK. Stop being your own worst enemy and things will work out. That is easy said and miserably hard to accomplish.
But what can make a gay person happy?
If a baker refuses to make a cake for a gay couple a lawsuit is sure to follow. In this instance the gay doesn't care what you think; only what you do. "Public accommodation" is the cry. Okay.
In Canada a gay couple bought an engagement ring from a jeweler. They recommended the jeweler to their gay friends. On Mother's day the jeweler posted a sign in support of hetero-sexual marriage. The gay couple wants their money back because the gay doesn't care what you do; only what you think.
So which way is it?
Many years ago my brother frustrated our whole family by insisting he wanted green shoes. The store had no green shoes. Boy was he mad. Nothing would do but green shoes. Loudly he demanded green shoes. At length he demanded green shoes. He was so unhappy.
He was 4 years old.
If they had made green Buster Browns back then my parents would have gladly purchased them to please him.            http://patriotupdate.com/articles/gays-and-green-shoes/

EXCEPT THE LORD BUILD THE HOUSE…: by Franklin D. Leupp, Sr.

from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:18 PM

n a day when the foundation of our country seems to be crumbling away in so many ways and at breakneck speed, it's time to reflect a little on our origins. Families and respect for each other are
in free-fall and actually abetted by our corrupt government. President Carter's Department of Education has become a debacle
of politicization and indoctrination, twisting young minds with the worst that the world has to offer. General Omar Bradley, in
his Armistice Day address in 1948, stated: "We have grasped the mystery of the atom and rejected the Sermon on the Mount. The world has achieved brilliance without conscience. Ours is a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants."
We have come so far; yes, we have "built the house." But in the words of Benjamin Franklin: "We have been assured in the Sacred Writings that except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain
that build it." (Psalms 127:1) Our forefathers relied heavily on Holy Scripture for guidance, advice, laws and our Constitution.
God's laws and wisdom are trodden down, thrown out of public and replaced with the ACLU's Mein Kampf, Mikey Weinstein's hatred of, and any mention of God and Christ Jesus; and sexual perversity that defies description. If William Bradford, leading the colony that settled at Plymouth Rock in 1620, had visions that some day in the future when his new country would be totally settled, Christians would be forbidden jobs, and even fired for believing
marriage was meant for one man and one woman and teachers would be fired for having a Bible on their desk, I do believe that as bad as the world was for them at that time, he and the Pilgrims would have stayed in Holland or even England where they were severely persecuted. A Statehouse where the enemy is feted and sexual depravity is honored, but prayer is rejected ...
inconceivable.
Schools that mandate teaching of evolution while rejecting God's creation was on Dr. Wernher von Braun's mind when, in a published article in 1974, he wrote: "To be forced to believe only one conclusion – that everything in the universe happened by chance – would violate the very objectivity of science itself ... What random process could produce the brains of man or the system of the human eye? The evolutionists cannot visualize a Designer.
Well, can a physicist visualize an electron? .. What strange rationale makes some physicists accept the inconceivable electron
as real while refusing to accept the reality of a Designer on the ground that they cannot conceive Him?"
Finally, considering the curse that our own present president has laid on our military, with help from atheists and the ACLU, it is
a bit consoling to turn to General Robert E. Lee for what could still be great spiritual power to our troops. In April 1864, he
ordered his troops to observe a day of fasting, humiliation and prayer, in concurrence with his leader, Confederate President
Jefferson Davis:
"Soldiers! Let us humble ourselves before the Lord, our God, asking through Christ, the forgiveness of our sins, beseeching
the aid of the God of our forefathers in the defense of our homes and our liberties, thanking Him for His past blessings, and
imploring their continuance upon our cause and our people."*
There are good people and organizations that keep fighting for a more decent society, in the face of overwhelming adversity.
Fight on, dear troops, fight on! Though the ship seems to be
sinking, more bailers could help.

State Dept’s New Regs Would Transform The Internet Beyond Recognition : By J.E. Dyer

from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 12:56 PM

Rusty Weiss called to our attention this morning an update to "arms trafficking" regulations posted to the Federal Register last week by the State Department. The National Rifle Association has sounded the alarm, having recognized quickly how these new regs would effectively shut down the exchange of information among gun enthusiasts on the web. http://libertyunyielding.com/2015/06/08/new-obama-administration-re...;
But the chokehold effect would be felt in other quarters as well. This move by the State Department is an absolutely terrible idea across the board. Even if it dealt with international trade in pork bellies or chicken parts, rather than arms, it should still be opposed strenuously on principle.
Its effect will be to make a tremendous chunk of what people talk about on the web every day subject to prior restraint, by, of all agencies, the State Department – or, potentially, other federal agencies, depending on topic.
If these regulations are actually implemented, for example, they would have an impact on online help forums for computer applications – because some of those applications can be put to military use. They would have an impact on forums in which users discuss computer simulation technology, online encryption, and the operation of commercially sold drones. The online topics to which the new regulations could be considered applicable are almost endless. (See the second section, below, for links and information on why this is.)                                                                                                                                http://libertyunyielding.com/2015/06/08/federal-regs-ii-state-depts-new-regs-would-transform-the-internet-beyond-recognition/

“Not On My Watch:” A Must-Read For Conservatives : by David L. Goetsch

from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 12:53 PM

I have reviewed many books over the course of my career. Nevertheless, it is a special treat to review the new book by Patriot Update author David Risselada. NOT ON MY WATCH! Exploring the Marxist Agenda in Education is an outstanding book written by an outstanding author. David is a patriot who served our country as a Marine and a soldier. He is also a scholar and an accomplished author. But what makes his new book especially credible is that David is a warrior in the cultural battle that has been raging in education since the 1960s and still rages to this day. Consequently, David's description of the Marxist agenda in education is the first-hand account of a warrior who has fought against the pernicious forces of radical liberalism that have infected education for decades and—like all real warriors—he has the scars to prove it. If doing battle with mushy-headed Marxist professors resulted in combat decorations, David would wear the Medal of Honor.
David begins his narrative with these words: "Our country has changed; we are no longer the bastion of freedom we once were. Somewhere along the line our beloved nation has taken a hard turn left and we have been steadily driving down a road toward totalitarianism. The general public seems to be completely oblivious to it, and those who have noticed are struggling to get others to wake up." In just one paragraph, David summarized two of the biggest problems facing America: 1) the unrelenting onslaught of Marxism, and 2) the apathy of those whose freedom is being undermined by the Marxist agenda.                                      http://patriotupdate.com/articles/not-on-my-watch-a-must-read-for-conservatives/

Black pastor enraged by Sharpton asking congregation for donations calls him ‘pimp’ : BY MIKE MILLER

Rev. Al Sharpton joined a march in Hartford, Connecticut, on Saturday to protest the killing of five young blacks in the city over the past two weeks.
Following the march, Sharpton spoke at Shiloh Baptist Church, according to CT News Junkie:   http://www.ctnewsjunkie.com/archives/entry/sharpton_calls_for_memorial_commemorating_hartford_victims_of_violence/
"I want to be here to see a memorial for the young people that have died. I want the...
