As the undisputed ratings king among cable news networks, Fox News Channel has positioned itself as an easy target for critics. Dismissed by some as right-wing propaganda, the network and its talent nevertheless continue to crush the competition.

While many on the right criticize the perceived leftward slant of networks like MSNBC and CNN, the anti-Fox rhetoric has spread throughout the Democrat Party so thoroughly that it is a common theme in Barack Obama's speeches.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           When allegations that O'Reilly Factor host Bill O'Reilly fabricated some of his experiences as a reporter covering the El Salvadoran civil war nearly 35 years ago surfaced, many critics began calling for his ouster. The host seems to have weathered the controversy thus far, remaining not only behind his desk at FNC but firmly atop the ratings pile.                                                              The O'Reilly Factor is not only the top-rated cable news program, according to recent analysis; its rerun falls in the top 10 – far higher than the first run of left-leaning programs like MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Show.

Fox as a whole has yet to slip from its top spot among cable news channels. For the 174th month in a row, FNC dominated other networks in the most recent Cable News Ranker report. An Open Letter to President Obama - 2015 : Charlie Daniels

Dear Mr. President,

This letter is not written in a spirit of hate, disrespect, nor is it motivated in any way by racial bias and is written with respect due the office and the awesome tasks that have been laid on your shoulders.

I write this letter because I am a tax paying American citizen who has experienced the American Dream and wants his children and grandchildren to have the same advantages and opportunities that he has had.

And no, Mr. President, I was not born into a one-percenter family, I come from a blue collar background, never went to college, have made a living doing manual labor and went into my chosen profession at ground level, worked hard and sacrificed to achieve success.

On April 13, 1967 I arrived in Nashville, Tennessee with a wife, a two-year-old baby, a twenty-dollar bill and the clutch out of my car.

I won't go into the mountains and valleys that I've traveled since then except to say that I have been successful and somebody did help me build the business I own. Almighty God, not the government.

I employ thirty people, good citizens and family people, hard-working people, the kind of gun-clinging, God-fearing folks who make America the greatest nation the world has ever known.

Mr. President, it seems to me that you have little faith in American ingenuity, American capability, American exceptionalism and even American patriotism.

You seem to think that America needs a monolithic, big brother type government to oversee and regulate every aspect of American life, that citizens are not competent to control their own affairs and make their own decisions without some oppressive bureaucracy to call the shots.

Mr. President, the answer is not government, conversely, the problem is government. A government that has doubled the national debt, increased unemployment, lowered take home pay, increased food stamp participation and disability claims and introduced socialized medicine.

You support teacher's unions which take political activism more seriously than education.

You intentionally lied to the American people about your stand on marriage being between a man and woman, and continue to lie when it is politically expedient for you to do so.

You surround yourself with inexperienced ideologues and political yes men and take the advice of individuals who are swimming in waters way too deep for them.

Your petulance is unbecoming, Mr. President, and your criticism of anyone who disagrees with you is downright unmanly. You come off like a spoiled child who has been denied his way.

And while you blame your shortcomings on opposing political parties, you had both houses of Congress and the White House in the first two years of your term. Plus an electoral mandate to do just about anything you wanted to, so the least you can do is cowboy up and take the blame for the messes you've made.

Your apparent disregard for the maintenance and morale of our armed services is extremely unwise and dangerous.

Mr. President, the office you hold is not a place for the faint of heart and when you draw a red line you'd dang well better be willing to back it up, because when you don't every tyrant and despot in this world takes it for a sign of weakness and will take advantage, Putin and China being a prime example.

In making any kind of deal with Iran you spit in the face of Israel and plant the seeds of a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.

The last report showed that the US economy actually shrunk by .07% while the national debt and other obligations grow by the day.

No matter how many apologists come forth and no matter how much double talk you and the puppets who speak for you come up with, the greatest nation the world has ever known is losing a war with a small army of criminals and thugs that grows bigger every day simply because you don't have the guts to face the problem.

You're running out of diversions Mr. President, sleight of hand political policies eventually stop working and lies finally float to the top of water.

Time is running out for you Mr. President and the horrible thing about it is that time is running out for America too.

Israeli Construction Workers Make Big Discovery That Ties Ancient Church To Today : Norvell Rose

It was a day like any other for the highway construction crew working to widen the busy road connecting Jerusalem to Tel Aviv. Then, in the midst of moving dirt, the Israeli crew came across something that would become a moving symbol connecting the ancient church with modern times.

As TheBlaze reports, archaeologists believe that what these construction workers uncovered are the remains of a large Byzantine era church that "may have serviced the spiritual needs of travelers."                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              "The Israel Antiquities Authority on Wednesday announced the discovery of the church whose northeast corner included a baptismal font in the shape of a four-leaf clover, symbolizing the cross," TheBlaze noted.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      In the 21st century, of course, highway travelers are used to seeing gas stations, fast food restaurants, and motels along their journey; but, as Annette Nagar, director of the excavation, noted of the fascinating find adjacent to Highway 1 west of Jerusalem, "Along this road, which was apparently already established in the Roman period, other settlements and road stations have previously been discovered that served those traveling the route in ancient times. Included in the services provided along the route were churches, such as the one recently uncovered at the entrance to Abu Gosh."                                                                                                                                                                                                                           The practice of locating a church alongside or very near a well-traveled roadway didn't end in ancient times. TheBlaze article on the archaeological find in the Holy Land notes a recent news report that talked of a house of worship being built on a major thoroughfare:

A Public Radio International report in 2013 profiled a new church in Siegerland along a German motorway, the 40th such spiritual center erected on a German highway.

"Since the 1950s, these churches have popped up along major highways. Some are Protestant; some are Catholic. Siegerland's is ecumenical," PRI reported. "All are designed to provide spiritual refreshment to travelers of any faith."
In studying the remains of the Byzantine-era church in Israel, antiquities experts found the structure contained "red plaster fragments discovered among the debris [that] suggested the church walls were once decorated with frescoes. ARTICLE 1:

You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth.. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE 2:
You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of dummies, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE 3:

You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV:

You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V:

You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI:

You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you get the blue juice.

ARTICLE 7:

You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure..

ARTICLE 8:

You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE IX:

You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X:

This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you came from, English is our language. Learn it!

ARTICLE XI:

You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, sorry if you are uncomfortable with it.

If you agree, share. No, you don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don't. I just think it's about time common sense is allowed to flourish. Sensible people of the United States must speak out because if you do not, who will?

Book to Detail Obama Administration’s “Root Hostility” Toward Israel : by Keith Koffler •

A new insider book by former Israeli ambassador to the United States Michael Oren will provide "an incredibly detailed account of the root hostility of the Obama administration toward the Jewish state," according to writer John Podhoretz.

Oren was ambassador from 2009-2013 and is, as Podhoretz notes, no "flame-breathing Israeli right-winger."

Rather, he was actually suckered by Obama's promises of "hope and change." Until, apparently, he found out that part of the "change" applied to George W. Bush's stalwart support for Israel.

While the Obama administration, Hollywood and major media such as Time magazine promote transgenderism as "normal," said Dr. McHugh, these "policy makers and the media are doing no favors either to the public or the transgendered by treating their confusions as a right in need of defending rather than as a mental disorder that deserves understanding, treatment and prevention."
"This intensely felt sense of being transgendered constitutes a mental disorder in two respects. The first is that the idea of sex misalignment is simply mistaken – it does not correspond with physical reality," McHugh wrote. "The second is that it can lead to grim psychological outcomes."

The transgendered person's disorder, said Dr. McHugh, is in the person's "assumption" that they are different than the physical reality of their body, their maleness or femaleness, as assigned by nature. It is a disorder similar to a "dangerously thin" person suffering anorexia who looks in the mirror and thinks they are "overweight," said McHugh.

This assumption, that one's gender is only in the mind regardless of anatomical reality, has led some transgendered people to push for social acceptance and affirmation of their own subjective "personal truth," said Dr. McHugh. As a result, some states – California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts – have passed laws barring psychiatrists, "even with parental permission, from striving to restore natural gender feelings to a transgender minor," he said.

Baltimore Prosecutor’s Absurd Response When Asked About Stepping Down

Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby who brought charges against six police officers in the Freddie Gray case but has since been caught in multiple instances of a conflict of interest, had a very tense exchange with Fox News reporter Griff Jenkins last night.

Jenkins first asked what Mosby would like to say to cops who don't believe she has their back. Mosby snapped back saying, "I'm not going to comment on that."

She then proceeded to comment on it.

"I come from five generations of police officers," she said. "That's absurd. Of course I have – I work with the police department. We rely on the police department to get these violent repeat offenders off of our streets. That's absurd."
What's absurd is forcing charges on police officers in the name of justice solely for one side of the incident, while telling criminals on the street that you've "heard (their) calls of no justice, no peace."

That's absurd.

Even better, Jenkins then asked Mosby if she's given any thought to recusing herself from the case. She responded by recusing herself from the interview.

Driving Directions in Florida When giving directions in Florida, you must always start with the words, "take I-75," "take I-4" or "take I-95." When crossing the border into Florida forget all driving rules you ever knew. If you're a snowbird or a non-working retiree, you absolutely cannot drive between the hours of 6 A.M. to 10 A.M. and 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. This is considered to be RUSH HOUR and you are not in any rush. NO EXCEPTIONS. But you will drive anyway. Freeways can only go north and south . . . Not east and west except Alligator Alley.
Tolls are a fact of life, the state has to make money, so deal with it! I-275 ( Tampa area) will always be under construction . . . that's the law and there is nothing anyone can do about it, period! 'A1A' and 'Alt. A1A' are the same road. Traffic lights are not timed and never will be. If you travel more than 20 miles on any road in any part of Florida without seeing an orange barricade, you're lost! If you miss your exit on I-75, I-4 or I-275, its perfectly acceptable to BACK UP! Every street in Florida has both a name and a number ( i . e . Adamo = Rt . 60) just for the heck of it -- and also for the pleasure we get from reaction of visitors when we give them directions. Once the light turns green, only 3 cars can go through the intersection, eight more go through on yellow, and 4 more on red. Know the difference between SunPass , SunFest , Sun-Sentinel and SunTrust. Flip flops, tank tops and baggy shorts are also known as business casual . Plaids and stripes of different colors at the same time are the norm. Your car's signal blinker means nothing. It should be left on at all times. English is our first and second language. It is perfectly acceptable to brag about the size of your emergency generator. We have alligators here in Florida and they WILL bite you. Don't be stupid and try to feed or pet one. When a hurricane is headed our way, even though you have advance warning and you are told to be prepared, you're not a true Floridian unless you wait until the absolute last minute to go to Home Depot to pick up plywood or to Publix to stock up water, ice, and potato chips. You know how to spell Okeechobee . There is an Okeechobee Lake, Town, County, Blvd , Street, and Avenue. A true Floridian does NOT own a boat. They make friends with someone who already owns one. That way you don't have to deal with any of the headaches. You weren't born here. If you were, you're angry that anyone else has moved here. There's always a Walgreens across the street from a CVS on nearly every corner - with more being built every day. When picking up a woman on South Beach, always check for an Adams apple. It's normal to sweat when you are putting up your holiday decorations. In south Florida the four seasons are summer. There is a city called 'The Villages' where over 100,000 old people live that all drive golf carts and dance in the streets. 65% of these people are swingers; the rest just got too old to care about it. (They have the highest number of cases of VD/STD in the state!) Jupiter is a city, not a planet. Seniors have to do their errands during the weekdays . . . not weeknights or weekends . . . that's for the working folks. Last week, Republicans and Democrats in Congress joined President Obama in congratulating themselves for taming the National Security Agency's voracious appetite for spying. By permitting one section of the Patriot Act to expire and by replacing it with the USA Freedom Act, the federal government is taking credit for taming beasts of its own creation.

In reality, nothing substantial has changed.

Under the Patriot Act, the NSA had access to and possessed digital versions of the content of all telephone conversations, emails and text messages sent between and among all people in America since 2009. Under the USA Freedom Act, it has the same. The USA Freedom Act changes slightly the mechanisms for acquiring this bulk data, but it does not change the amount or nature of the data the NSA acquires.

Under the Patriot Act, the NSA installed its computers in every main switching station of every telecom carrier and Internet service provider in the United States. It did this by getting Congress to immunize the carriers and providers from liability for permitting the feds to snoop on their customers and by getting the Department of Justice to prosecute the only CEO of a carrier who had the courage to send the feds packing.

In order to operate its computers at these facilities, the NSA placed its own computer analysts physically at those computers 24/7. It then went to the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Court and asked for search warrants directing the telecoms and Internet service providers to make available to it all the identifying metadata — the times, locations, durations, email addresses and telephone numbers used — for all callers and email users in a given ZIP code or area code or on a customer list.

The first document revealed by Edward Snowden two years ago was a FISA court search warrant directed to Verizon ordering it to make available to NSA agents the metadata of all its customers — more than 113 million at the time. Once the court granted that search warrant and others like it, the NSA computers simply downloaded all that metadata and the digital recordings of content.
