Army General Introduces His Husband at Pentagon Gay Pride Event

A married Army general on Tuesday introduced his spouse at a Pentagon event that featured lots of top brass, including Defense Secretary Ashton Carter as the keynote speaker.

What made this seemingly routine introduction noteworthy is that Brig. Gen. Randy S. Taylor introduced his husband, Lucas.

"My husband Lucas is sitting up front here," Gen. Taylor said of the man in the same row as Mr. Carter, Army Secretary John McHugh and other senior officials. He said Lucas has subjugated his own career to support the general's frequent moves over an 18-year relationship.

"We bet everything on my Army career," said Gen. Taylor, whose 27 years of service spanned an outright ban on gays, then "don't ask, don't tell" and finally, the ban's lifting in 2011.

Gen. It’s Starting: Chelsea Clinton for President ; BY PAUL BEDARD

Since she has already expressed an openness to running for Senate in New York, it only makes sense that buzz would begin over Chelsea Clinton one day becoming president.

Democrats promoting a Clinton dynasty have whispered about it, but now a prominent Republican pundit is openly detailing a possible path to the presidency for Chelsea Clinton.

In his new book "The Queen," top radio talker Hugh Hewitt lays it out in memo style to Hillary Clinton. An advance sales copy was provided to the Examiner.

He spells out a twisted route to the Oval Office that begins with Hillary, as the Democratic nominee, picking a vice president who doesn't have the usual ambitions and would step aside during Clinton's re-election, if she wanted. Hewitt suggests Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, his former Harvard University classmate.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Next, after winning the presidency next year, Hillary Clinton would name New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand to the Supreme Court when an opening occurred. She'd make sure that Chelsea Clinton was appointed as Gillibrand's replacement.

The final move would be to the vice presidency for Chelsea. How? Either Hillary dies and Patrick names Chelsea as his veep, or he steps aside to allow the mother-daughter ticket. But this morning, new scrutiny is focused on Florida Senator Marco Rubio's financial struggles and spending habits."

2. MSNBC Live Mocks Republicans for Being Less Popular Than Voldemort

On the June 10 edition of MSNBC Live, Thomas Roberts chose to highlight a non-scientific poll that showed several Republican candidates for president polling behind Voldemort from Harry Potter. MSNBC Live regular Frances Rivera noted that the Terminator, the shark from Jaws, and Lord Voldemort all had higher favorability ratings than many of the major Republican players.

3. Rachel Maddow Mourns: Liberal Republicans Like Lincoln Chafee Are 'Extinct'

MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow on Tuesday couldn't help herself as she fawned over the liberal credentials of Republican turned independent turned Democrat Lincoln Chafee. Despite the fact that Chafee is no longer a member of the GOP, the journalist repeatedly hyped his former status. She recounted, "In 2004, when President George W. Bush was running for re-election as president there was one Republican U.S. senator" who didn't vote for the incumbent.

4. ABC and CBS Skip Obama Criticism in Covering Return of U.S. Troops to Iraq

Following news on Wednesday that the Obama administration will send 450 additional U.S. troops back to Iraq to help train the Iraqi military against ISIS, ABC's World News Tonight and the CBS Evening News chose to exclude any criticism of the Obama administration's ISIS policy while NBC Nightly News made multiple critical points about the administration as Richard Engel declared: "It's hard to see how a few hundred non-combat troops are going to make much of a difference."

5. Networks Punt on EPA Announcing Plans to Regulate Airplane Emissions

For the third time in just under three weeks, the major broadcast networks ignored news related to the Obama administration's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with the latest news coming on Wednesday that the agency has announced its goal to regulate aircraft emissions in a similar fashion that it does for automobiles and powerplants. FNC's Special Report and the PBS NewsHour, however, found time to inform their viewers of the agency's latest foray into the economy.

6. On NBC, Seinfeld Slams 'Creepy PC Thing' 'Moving the Lines In' on Comedy

Jerry Seinfeld blasted political correctness on the early Wednesday edition of NBC's Late Night With Seth Meyers. Seinfeld cited how he recently got a negative reaction to a "gay French king" joke: "I can imagine a time when people say, 'Well, that's offensive to suggest that a gay person moves their hands in a flourishing motion, and you now need to apologize.' I mean, there's a creepy PC thing out there that really bothers me."

After comedian Jerry Seinfeld told ESPN radio that political correctness on college campuses was hurting comedy, Wednesday's CBS This Morning was the only network news broadcast to report on the topic. Fill-in co-host Jeff Glor declared: "Jerry Seinfeld thinks young people today are too politically correct for his comedy....The former sitcom star is raising some controversy, calling out millennials for not being able to laugh."

8. Shorter MSNBC: Seinfeld's Jab at 'Creepy PC' Isn't Valid Because He's Rich

Alex Wagner, along with her three liberal guests, ripped Jerry Seinfeld on her MSNBC program on Wednesday, for his blast at "creepy" political correctness. Wagner hinted that Seinfeld had "fallen behind the times." New York magazine's Annie Lowrey mocked his critique: "I kind of roll my eyes at Jerry Seinfeld. You know, he's a billionaire – like I don't feel sorry for him if people don't laugh hard enough at his jokes."

It has been a banner year or so for race mongers. They have been able to paint police as over-zealous racist, jack-booted, white heathens, going about in the tradition of the Ku Klux Klan.
This period of time will be etched in school textbooks along with all of the other lies and half-truths portraying the plight of blacks as the fault of "white America". But the truth will receive far less attention. That is why I am here.

The latest so-called police atrocity allegedly took place in McKinney, Texas just a few days ago. To hear the media and witnesses tell it, a McKinney police officer ruthlessly kneed a poor little black girl in the back as he viciously restrained her, and pointed his gun on others. As you would expect there is even the obligatory cell phone video of the horrible scene.

But as always the truth presents a far different picture. The following is an eyewitness account that was forwarded to me by Nicole S. Judge for yourself how this eyewitness account differs from the stories being spread across be the media. It is shared unedited as I received it.

A DJ set up in a public square next to the private pool in our neighborhood on Friday and played loud explicit (F-bomb) music for multiple hours (it is unclear if he was invited by a resident as no one has claimed responsibility). The teenagers (both black and white) were being brought into our neighborhood by the carload because the DJ was tweeting out invites to a "pool party" for $15 (obviously unauthorized by our neighborhood).

The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool. Some were jumping our fence. The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene. Some residents who live around the park/pool area tried to come out and settle things down.

The teens started yelling racial slurs at our neighbors and started yelling racial slurs at our neighbors and started assaulting people and property (throwing bottles at cars and attacking a mother at the pool with her three young children).

The first officer on the scene was by himself. At that time, the party had grown to a large, aggressive crowd. As the officer arrived, many teens started running through our neighborhood. Many of the teens were very aggressive and yelling at the officers as more arrived.

This was a very dangerous situation for the officers AND the teens/residents not involved. The news media has refused to hear the neighborhood's side of this story. The video being distributed is only a very small segment of what happened. [The] information being distributed by the media and others is extremely distorted and in some cases outright lies.

PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BROADCASTING OF THIS IGNORANCE. The media is trying to make it look like our neighborhood is a white's only, racist area. Anyone who has spent even a few minutes in our area knows this is an outright LIE.

The unfortunate result is that our neighbors are now being threatened. We have also had cars and property in and around the park area vandalized this weekend. Unfortunately, the press and social media are trying to enflame the situation.

In the aftermath of this melee the accused officer has resigned. His life is ruined while the ignorant and savage youths will continue to think they are above the law.
My job is to present the truth to you factually. The media's job apparently is to seek ratings and advertising dollars at the expense of the truth.

Mexico has been a place of beauty and violence for several years. As I reported previously, the violence between government and cartel soldiers has been on the rise. Add to that the clashes between rival cartels and the northern border of Mexico can be a dangerous place to be or live. Shootouts are regularly occurring, and bystanders usually get caught in the crossfire. CBP said the helicopter "was struck several times by ground fire" about 5 p.m. on Friday. The rounds penetrated and damaged the aircraft and forced the pilot to make an emergency landing. No one was injured in the incident.
Not to make more of this than there is, but it must be pointed out. The cartel shot down an American helicopter while patrolling our border. So what does Obama do? The Obama administration, as it was just revealed, has sent Congress a report that harshly criticizes the Egyptian government. The report states: "An unknown number of individuals accused of various crimes have spent extended periods in pretrial detention without charge," the report said, according to AP, adding, "Conditions in prisons and detention centers are harsh due to overcrowding, physical abuse, inadequate medical care and poor ventilation. The report accusing Egypt of restricting free speech, arresting political dissidents and undermining democracy, The Associated Press (AP) reported Monday.                                                                                                                                  The six-page ridiculous report, quietly submitted to lawmakers last month, said that "except in rare instances, police and security forces have not been held accountable for alleged human rights violations," objecting on Egypt's decision to expand the jurisdiction of military courts to try civilians.

Blake Neff : Allahu Akbar! Suicide Jihadis Blow Themselves Up While Fighting Each Other

Two suspected terrorist bombers in Pakistan died amusing deaths over the weekend when a fight between them led to a bomb detonation that killed them and nobody else.
The two men, identified by police as Ghulam Rasul and Muhammad Sultan, were having a conversation on a park bench in Sargodha that suddenly escalated into a verbal argument and then a physical fight. During the fight, an explosive carried by one of the two men detonated, killing them both.

Accounts differ on the exact nature of the explosion. According to Ayrnews.tv, one or both suicide vests worn by the men blew up in the fight, while The Express Tribune says one of the men was carrying an improved explosive device that detonated.
                                                                                                                                                                              It's currently unknown where the explosion was accidental or intentional on the part of one of the men. Nobody else was harmed.
The fight was fortuitously timed, as police say the men were very close to a crowded area where casualties could have been far higher.
Following the explosions, police investigated the mens' homes and made arrests of suspected collaborators as well.
It's hardly the first time terrorists have managed to kill themselves in an amusing way. In 1999, Palestinian car bombers killed themselves when confusion over Daylight Savings Time caused their bombs to detonate an hour early. Senior citizens are constantly being criticized for every conceivable deficiency of the modern world, real or imaginary. We take responsibility for all we have done and do not blame others.

However, upon reflection, we would like to point out that it was NOT the senior citizens who took any of the following:

The melody out of music,

The pride out of appearance,

The courtesy out of driving,

The romance out of love,

The commitment out of marriage,

The responsibility out of parenthood,

The togetherness out of the family,

The learning out of education,

The service out of patriotism,

The Golden Rule from rulers,

The nativity scene out of cities,

The civility out of behavior,

The refinement out of language,

The dedication out of employment,

The prudence out of spending,

The ambition out of achievement, or

God out of government and school.

And we certainly are NOT the ones who eliminated patience and tolerance from personal relationships and interactions with others!!

And, we do understand the meaning of patriotism, and remember those who have fought and died for our country.

Just look at the Seniors with tears in their eyes and pride in their hearts as they stand at attention with their hand over their hearts!

I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.

Retired Husband

After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to

Walmart. Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and

preferred to get in and get out.

Equally unfortunately, my wife is like most women - she loves to browse and

leaves me with endless time to fill.

Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local

Wal-mart:

Dear Mrs. Harris:

Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a commotion in our

store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of

you from the store.

Our complaints against your husband, Mr. Harris, are listed below and are

documented by our video surveillance cameras:

1. June 15: He took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in other

people's carts when they weren't looking.

2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute

intervals.

3. July 7: He made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the

women's restroom.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice,

"Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away."

This caused the employee to leave her assigned station and receive a

reprimand from her supervisor that in turn resulted with a union grievance,

causing management to lose time and costing the company money. We don't have

a "Code 3."

5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&Ms on

layaway.

6. August 14: Moved a "CAUTION - WET FLOOR" sign to a carpeted area.

7. August 15: Set up a tent in the Camping Department and told the children

shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from

the Bedding Department, to which twenty children obliged.

8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him, he began crying and

screamed, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?" EMT's were called.

9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a

mirror while he picked his nose.

10. September 10: While handling guns in the Hunting Department, he asked

the clerk where the antidepressants were.

11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the

Mission Impossible theme song.

12. October 6: In the Auto Department, he practiced his "Madonna Look" using

different sizes of funnels.

13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through

yelled "PICK ME! PICK ME!"

14. October 22: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed

a fetal position and screamed "OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!"

15. Took a box of condoms to the checkout clerk and asked, "Where is the

fitting room?"

And last, but not least:

16. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited a while, and

then yelled very loudly, "Hey! There's no toilet paper in here." One of the

clerks passed out.

If you don't send this to your dearest friends, you'll be depriving them of

some good humor.
