The Stunning Thing Mosby Ordered Cops To Do 3 Weeks BEFORE Freddie Gray’s Arrest : Norvell Rose
from Doofiegirl on 06/11/2015 10:43 AMEvidence of apparent incompetence and misbehavior continues to pile up in the case of the "Baltimore Six" — not evidence against the cops involved in the police-custody death of Freddie Gray, but against the state's attorney prosecuting the case. On the heels of the embarrassing disclosure that Marilyn Mosby filed her motion for a gag order in the wrong court — an attempt to keep defense attorneys from talking to the media that was denied — comes word that it was Mosby herself who directed police to crack down on drug dealing in the very neighborhood where Gray was apprehended.
In other words, Marilyn Mosby's prior statements that the Baltimore cops who picked up Gray after he ran from them made an unlawful arrest, is contradicted by the fact that it was she who ordered the police crackdown on drug dealing in the high-crime area where the arrest took place. On her Fox News show Tuesday night, Megyn Kelly revealed the latest Baltimore bombshell: "...a staff member in Mosby's office sent an email to the Baltimore Police Department to direct officers on behalf of the prosecutor to 'crack down on the exact area' where Gray was arrested." http://insider.foxnews.com/2015/06/09/megyn-kelly-marilyn-mosby-reportedly-ordered-cops-patrol-area-where-freddie-gray-was
Keep in mind that Mosby has repeatedly claimed the six police officers involved in Gray's arrest were unjustified in chasing, capturing, cuffing, and then transporting him to jail. Now, with word that the prosecutor who's going after the cops was the very person who issued the order to have them step up their patrol in the first place, the defense's attempt to have Mosby removed from the case takes on new weight.
Just last week, Western Journalism reported that State's Attorney Mosby was discovered trying to keep Freddie Gray's autopsy report under wraps. The news sparked criticism among those who believe the autopsy could offer evidence contrary to Mosby's account of events that led to serious charges against the six police officers. http://www.westernjournalism.com/baltimore-prosecutor-called-out-for-hiding-something-big-regarding-freddie-gray/ http://www.westernjournalism.com/bombshell-the-stunning-thing-mosby-ordered-cops-to-do-3-weeks-before-freddie-grays-arrest/?utm_campaign=54ebe14371e7fc692400399a&utm_source=BoomTrain&utm_medium=email&utm_content=recommended&bt_alias=eyJ1c2VySWQiOiIzYTBhMjU0YS1kMjM1LTQzNTctYjFiZi05YzBiNzk1Y2JjZDAifQ%3D%3D
Cities Without Borders by Roseann Salanitri
from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 02:40 PM
Many will remember the words of Ronald Reagan who inspired us to once again become a shining City on a Hill. Reagan's vision was captivating and for a short time some of us actually believed it was possible – and as long as we believed it, it was possible. Those days are gone with the wind. The reality is that we are fast becoming a City Without Borders and consequently without shine.
While we are rightfully concerned about by the high numbers of illegals entering through what was once considered to be our southern and northern borders, another disturbing statistic has gone virtually unnoticed. In 2014, it was reported that nearly 70,000 refugees entered these United States sanctioned by our government as a result of the Refugee Act of 1980 and its bureaucratic arm, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) . While images of young children fleeing the swords of ISIS may make this seem like a humanitarian effort, many would be surprised to know that these refugees are not screened by any office within the United States. Instead, their authorization to enter the United States is based on approval from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees . This arm of the UN is governed by the UN General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council. Additionally, the President of the United States, after consulting with Congress and the appropriate agencies (none of which are run by elected officials), determines the designated nationalities and processing priorities for refugee resettlement. I'll just bet that makes you feel secure – especially since you would be hard pressed to find any processing priorities for these refugees other than entitlement benefits freely given to them from our coffers – many of which exceed the entitlements America citizens are given.
In 2014, the man now occupying the White House approved many nations that could send us refugees, among whom were: Afghanistan with 758 refugees, Bhutan at 8,316, Burma at 14,577; Cuba at 4,063; Dem Rep. Congo at 4,052; Iraq at 19,651; Somalia at 9,011, and Iran at 2,833. But don't worry – these refugees were approved by the UN General Assembly. It should be noted that all of these countries (with the exception of Somalia) are part of the 193 Member States of the United Nations that approve who the refugees are that come to our homeland. Member States also include China, Pakistan, Yemen, Turkey, and the Syrian Arab Republic – many of whom have closed their borders to refugees fleeing the ire of ISIS and a few of which can be considered safe havens for ISIS – none of which has the slightest interest for safety and prosperity of America at heart. It should also be noted that the greatest number of people being dumped into our hands come from Somalia, a nation that has produced pirates and profiteers that continually impede the waters between Africa and the Arabic states and considered by most to be the worst of the worst.
This action begs several questions: is this program the ORR's equivalent to the Beau Bergdahl trade; are these countries cleaning house by sending us their most unwanted residents; or worse, are they sending us terrorists masquerading as refugees; and can this be part of a plot devised by Barack Obama to infiltrate and destroy the land of the free by creating an annex to the 57 Muslim states? Since we don't have access to the sanctioning process, we may never know the answers to these questions – unless the likes of the Boston bombers become visible within our ranks.
However, there is some information that is available. For instance, research will reveal that these refugees are provided with the necessities of life, such as welfare, cash and medical assistance (including emotional wellness and health insurance), individual development accounts, grants, microenterprise development, childcare and all the other entitlements our tax dollars to pay for – and yes, these do include handing them unknown quantities of cash. Additionally, The ORR has reported that they were able to help some find jobs – although it doesn't report whether or not their employment took them off the dole. In Texas, where 7,214 refugees were settled, 46% have jobs (which means 54% don't), and in Michigan 47% out of the reported 4,006 are working. Since we have child labor laws on the books, it is safe to assume that none of these are children. Of course this is good news for the refugees but not such good news for the American citizens who didn't have the ORR recruiting employment positions for them and have lost job opportunities enjoyed by these refugees. It has been reported by American Citizens Lobbyist Group in NJ that the total cost of this program is at least 10-20 billion dollars per annum at the federal level and is impossible to estimate what this burden costs the communities where these refugees reside.
Additional facts that Americans should be aware of is that these refugees are not tested for many diseases, such as HIV or TB. It should be noted that TB among the foreign born now accounts for about half of the TB in America. The American Citizens Lobbyist Group also reported that the number one language of refugees entering the United States right now is Arabic, with Somali being number four. Does this mean that soon we will be hearing "Press 1 for Arabic, 2 for Somali, 3 for Spanish, and 4 for English?"
And, if you think that these refugees will be settled in urban areas – think again. They are expected to be approved by county-level legislative bodies and settled in semi-rural and rural communities – all under the politically correct goal of diversity and all without the approval of the local communities that they will impact.
In recent history, the geographic location of countries could be defined by its borders. That is quickly changing in America. Our melting pot is overflowing and will soon consume everything we love(d) about this nation. http://mychal-massie.com/premium/cities-without-borders/?inf_contact_key=6bdff4c8ea753fa2b8353a7016f6d64270778b82b55ae0187540155c36d3e9bc
The Irish Times: Multiple Lies and Distortions in Three Parts : Simon Plosker
from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 02:28 PMThe Irish Times has published a series of three stories ostensibly taking a Palestinian perspective on current issues. Biased and skewed reporting is clearly evident as is the norm for the Irish Times.
In the first article, "Palestinians must use politics to end 'apartheid regime'," journalist Michael Jansen conducts an interview with "Israeli peace activist Jeff Halper" who is also described as "a veteran critic of Israeli police."
What Jansen fails to reveal is that Halper is anything but a "peace activist." Indeed Halper's criticism of Israel goes far beyond that of its police force. Halper is a radical anti-Israel activist and the director of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICHAD). As NGO Monitor notes:
ICAHD's rhetoric includes accusations of "ethnic cleansing," "genocide," "collective punishment," and "apartheid."
Active in promoting the BDS (boycotts, divestments and sanctions) campaign against Israel.
Explicitly advocates for the end of the state of Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people, stating that "the only option for resolving the conflict [is] a one-state solution."
In his comments to the Irish Times, Halper claims:
The Israeli army is everywhere. Squads posing as Palestinians enter Palestinian towns and villages at will and arrest and shoot Palestinians.
In Halper's mind, Israeli soldiers simply shoot Palestinians. As Halper well knows, the IDF has strict rules of engagement and opening fire on Palestinians, be they armed or otherwise, is not taken lightly.
But then, this isn't the first time that Michael Jansen has given an unchallenged platform for Halper to incite against Israel.
Jansen continues her story, interviewing PA foreign minister Nabil Shaath, who advocates for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel and describes the Palestinian campaign as an "anti-apartheid struggle." It's all too easy to throw unverified figures around such as Shaath's claim that Israel has taken over 92% of the West Bank's water.
In fact, as StandWithUs makes clear, Israel uses the same aquifers for its water today that it used before 1967, when its administration of the West Bank began. The water in the aquifiers naturally flows seawards, into Israel. Israeli settlements are connected to Israel's national water system and do not use the Palestinian Authority's water system. Palestinian fresh water consumption grew over 300 percent between 1967 and 2008.
Despite the scarcity of water, Israel agreed in the Oslo Accords to annually give 31 million cubic meters (mcm) of its own water to West Bank Palestinians to supplement their water resources. In fact, Israel has given progressively more each year. In 2008, Israel gave 40 percent more than agreed upon: 51.8 mcm. http://honestreporting.com/the-irish-times-multiple-lies-and-distortions-in-three-parts/
Iran Spends Billions to Prop Up Assad : By Eli Lake
from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 02:23 PM
Iran is spending billions of dollars a year to prop up the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, according to the U.N.'s envoy to Syria and other outside experts. These estimates are far higher than what the Barack Obama administration, busy negotiating a nuclear deal with the Tehran government, has implied Iran spends on its policy to destabilize the Middle East.
On Monday, a spokeswoman for the U.N. special envoy for Syria, Staffan de Mistura, told me that the envoy estimates Iran spends $6 billion annually on Assad's government. Other experts I spoke to put the number even higher. Nadim Shehadi, the director of the Fares Center for Eastern Mediterranean Studies at Tufts University, said his research shows that Iran spent between $14 and $15 billion in military and economic aid to the Damascus regime in 2012 and 2013, even though Iran's banks and businesses were cut off from the international financial system.
Such figures undermine recent claims from Obama and his top officials suggesting that Iran spends a relative pittance to challenge U.S. interests and allies in the region. While the administration has never disclosed its own estimates on how much Iran spends to back Syria and other allies in the Middle East, Obama himself has played down the financial dimension of the regime's support.
"The great danger that the region has faced from Iran is not because they have so much money. Their budget -- their military budget is $15 billion compared to $150 billion for the Gulf States," he said in an interview last week with Israel's Channel 2.
But experts see it another way. The Christian Science Monitor last month reported that de Mistura told a think tank in Washington that Iran was spending three times its official military budget--$35 billion annually--to support Assad in Syria. When asked about that earlier event, Jessy Chahine, the spokeswoman for de Mistura, e-mailed me: "The Special Envoy has estimated Iran spends $6 billion annually on supporting the Assad regime in Syria. So it's $6 billion not $35 billion. http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2015-06-09/iran-spends-billions-to-prop-up-assad
U.N. keeps Israel, Hamas off children's rights blacklist; raps Israel army UNITED NATIONS | BY MICHELLE NICHOLS AND LOUIS CHARBONNEAU
from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 02:20 PMThe United Nations on Monday left Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas off its blacklist of states and armed groups that violate children's rights during conflicts, but criticized Israel over its 2014 military operations.
U.N. special envoy for children and armed conflict, Leila Zerrougui, had included Israel's army - known as the IDF - and Hamas in a draft of the report she had sent to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Ban had final say on the blacklist, which was distributed to Security Council members on Monday.
U.N. sources have said Ban's decision to override Zerrougui's recommendation was unusual. They also said Israel lobbied Ban hard to stay off the list, though it denied pressuring him.
Still, his report strongly criticized Israel.
"The unprecedented and unacceptable scale of the impact on children in 2014 raises grave concerns about Israel's compliance with international humanitarian law ... (and) excessive use of force," he said.
Israel's U.N. Ambassador Ron Prosor said Israel should not be listed alongside groups like Islamic State, al Qaeda and the Taliban. Emmanuel Nahshon, Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman, said Israel took all possible steps to protect civilians.
"Israel acted to defend its residents from attacks by a murderous terrorist group, which has no qualms about placing Palestinian civilians, including children, in the line of fire," Nahshon said. Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum criticized the United Nations for keeping Israel off the list and for equating his Islamist faction, which he said was defending the Palestinians against Israeli "state terror," with Israel.
The U.N. report criticized "Palestinian armed groups" for indiscriminate rocket fire that endangered children in Israel and Gaza. http://uk.reuters.com/article/2015/06/08/uk-israel-palestinians-children-un-idUKKBN0OO1VD20150608
Tim Brown : TSA Failed to Identify 73 Workers Who Were on Terror Watch Lists
from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 02:11 PMIn more evidence that the Department of Homeland Security provides no real security, a new report by the unconstitutional department reveals that the Transportation Security Administration allowed access to secure areas of airports across the nation to 73 workers with "links to terrorism."
The Daily Caller reports:
According to the report, the 73 workers with terror backgrounds were identified out of 900,000 active aviation workers using the National Counterterrorism Center's Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE) system.
The report includes a table showing which terrorism codes applied to the 73 aviation workers, but it is redacted.
The reason for the knowledge gap is that TSA is not privy to some codes which are part of the "watchlist extract" included in the TIDE system. In order to include the new terrorism-related codes, DHS must issue a formal request to the Watchlisting Interagency Policy Committee.
Screening for aviation workers on terror watch lists was hindered in other ways, according to the report.
While airports are responsible for providing identifying information for aviation employees, the information is often incomplete. And that is a problem because of a TSA security directive which requires that the agency only initiate a security threat assessment for employees whose profiles have complete information.
"Our testing showed that TSA did not identify 73 individuals with terrorism-related category codes because TSA is not authorized to receive all terrorism-related information under current intraagency watchlisting policy," the report reads.
However, the report also went on to attempt pointing the finger at the fact that those workers were employed by major airliners, airport vendors and other employers.
"According to TSA data, these individuals were employed by major airlines, airport vendors, and other employers. TSA did not identify these individuals through its vetting operations because it is not authorized to receive all terrorism-related categories under current interagency watchlisting policy," the report added.
"TSA acknowledged that these individuals were cleared for access to secure airport areas despite representing a potential transportation security threat," the report continued.

The Silencing : Mike Adams
from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:47 PMKirsten Powers gets it. There is an assault on free speech in this country that is coming from the political left. But the people responsible for it are not liberals. They aren't worthy of the title of liberal, which presupposes a degree of tolerance for opposing opinions. They are illiberal leftists and they are crushing the free exchange of ideas in this country. To make matters worse, they know exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it. In other words, they are not ignorant of, or merely indifferent to, constitutional principles. They are at war with them.
You can see it on our nation's campuses. Between 1987 and 2008, protests geared towards "disinviting" speakers with unpopular views resulted in 62 campus event cancellations. Between 2009 and 2014, there were another 62 campus event cancellations. In other words, over the last few years, campus protestors have become increasingly committed to silencing dissenting opinions. And the pattern is not random. According to the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), conservative speakers are targeted for "dis-invitation" twice as often as liberal speakers.
It is no wonder that students are beginning to protest actively against the free exchange of unpopular opinions on campus. They are learning it from their professors. University of Pennsylvania professor Mary Frances Berry once admitted "There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans." After the admission, she went on to defend making false accusations of racism as a means of quashing debate. She stated, "Having one's opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness."
That's sums up the mindset of the illiberal left. Attack your opponents as a means of limiting political discourse. Next, declare victory. Finally, don't forget to reaffirm your commitment to tolerance and diversity.
Predictably, the profound disrespect for free speech that is modeled by college professors like Berry eventually ends up bleeding into the larger society. In the 2013 annual First Amendment Center survey there was a significant increase in the number of people saying that the First Amendment goes too far in protecting individual rights. Less than one-fourth of those over sixty say the First Amendment goes too far. But nearly half of those between the ages of eighteen and thirty think it goes too far. This does not bode well for the future. http://townhall.com/columnists/mikeadams/2015/06/09/the-silencing-n... http://townhall.com/columnists/mikeadams/2015/06/09/the-silencing-n...;
Open Legs and Closed Minds : Mike Adams
from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:44 PMThe lawlessness of UNC administrators continues to make headlines across the nation. Most of this lawlessness comes from administrative offices dedicated to promoting "diversity." It is no wonder that most of the fake classes taken by student athletes at UNC were listed under African American Studies. Where we find multiculturalism, we find the denial of objective truth. Where we find the denial of objective truth, we find people who lie and deny it.
Of course we find plenty of lies and deception associated with virtually every activity initiated by the LGBTQIA Office and Women's Resource Center (WRC) at UNCW. The latest lie concerns their core claim to be a "resource" that is open to all students regardless of their backgrounds and beliefs.
The ostensibly inclusive UNCW LGBTQIA Resource Office has a Facebook page, which can be accessed at this link. Note two things: First, the group is listed as a "closed" membership group. Second, both Katie Peel, the director of the WRC, and Amy Schlag, director of the LGBTQIA Resource Office, have the authority to deny people membership in the group. The two were "married" in the State of Massachusetts. Now, they are partnering in their efforts to deny university resources to people who do not share their beliefs.
The UNCW WRC also has a Facebook page, which can be accessed at this link. Note two things: First, the group is listed as a "closed" membership group. Second, both Katie Peel, the director of the WRC, and Amy Schlag, director of the LGBTQIA Resource Office, have the authority to deny people membership in the group. Why are these two soul mates not listed as co-directors for each of the offices? https://www.facebook.com/login.php?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook....
It is also worth noting that the WRC provides $1000 awards for members of the university community who demonstrate "inclusiveness." In other words, they exclude people from the page for the center and then use the center's funds to financially reward people who demonstrate the qualities of inclusiveness that they lack. Both the closed group and the inclusiveness awards are supported by taxpayers. It's a lot like paying someone to throw trash on the ground and then paying someone else to pick it up. http://townhall.com/columnists/mikeadams/2014/11/04/open-legs-and-c... http://townhall.com/columnists/mikeadams/2014/11/04/open-legs-and-c...
Why Christian Values Still Matter : Armstrong Williams
from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:40 PMWhile America was undoubtedly founded upon a bedrock of religious freedom it is equally true that the Christian faith has been probably the greatest contributor the social fabric of this country. Even as the country seems to drift away from Christian values, there are still far more people in Church on Sunday than at the football stadium. Despite the fact that gay marriage and out of wedlock births have become more prevalent, the overwhelming majority of Americans continue to celebrate the Christian holidays. In fact the reason why many homosexuals seem to have fought for the right to marry is not because they merely want the same social benefits and legal rights as heterosexual married couples, but they also crave the spiritual and community benefits bestowed upon marriage by the Christian faith.
The debate over whether one can be both a practicing homosexual and a devout Christian has been waged from the pulpits and in the media very intensely over the years. Many Christian see such practices as homosexuality, abortion and sex outside of marriage as sinful and something that Christian values militate against. Many homosexuals in the Church feel that God loves sinners, for who is without sin at all? At the end of the day Christian values still matter because even those among us who are not Christian rely upon the Christian values among the rest of us. They rely upon Christian kindness, patience, charity and chastity – for it is those values that create spaces, whether in soup kitchens, homes for the sick and elderly, or safe places of refuge for everyone.
In fact Christian values act as a sort of spiritual inoculation for the country. Like Vaccines, values prevent the spread of harm, both physically and spiritually. The value which upholds the sanctity of life protects against murder, mayhem, and physical abuse of people at the hands of their neighbors. The value which upholds the sanctity of marriage preserves families and affords children the opportunity to grow up in a loving, stable, environment surrounded by parents who are committed by faith to work towards a higher spiritual union. The sanctity of marriage helps preserve bloodlines and reduces the confusion and hurt that arises when parentage becomes uncertain. The value which says one must not covet ones neighbor's belongings, inoculates society against the ravages of jealousy, theft and enmity. http://townhall.com/columnists/armstrongwilliams/2015/06/09/why-christian-values-still-matter-n2009771?utm_source=thdaily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl&newsletterad= http://townhall.com/columnists/armstrongwilliams/2015/06/09/why-christian-values-still-matter-n2009771/page/2
REPUBLICANS BRACE FOR HURRICANE DONALD : By Jonathan Easley
from Doofiegirl on 06/10/2015 01:35 PMRepublicans are increasingly worried that a Donald Trump presidential candidacy could drag down their strongest field in recent memory.
Check this out:
"He's an unwelcome distraction," said Republican strategist Ron Bonjean. "We already have so many candidates vying for attention, and he brings a sideshow element to the whole thing." Trump, a billionaire real estate mogul and reality TV star, has scheduled a "major" announcement from Trump Tower in New York City on June 16. Speculation is rampant that he will enter the White House race, one day after former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) is virtually certain to make his own candidacy official.
Some Republicans remain skeptical that Trump will actually join the field, however. He has flirted with running in every cycle since 2000, most notably in 2012, when he was briefly at the top of the GOP polls. But he's never taken the plunge.
Trump and his aides insist he's serious this go-round. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/244358-republicans-brace-for-hurricane-donald
