from Marianne on 06/21/2015 09:46 AMHello to everybody - I think that we need to be patient; many are still busy, searching lost friends and reconnecting over several different sites. Send a message to your friends and see when they have a moment to chat.

Re: RELIGION OF PEACE: Muslim Strangles His 3 Daughters to Death to Avoid ‘Wasting Money’ On Their Education
from Marianne on 06/13/2015 11:35 PMSadly enough, such deep rooted criminal practices, transmitted by archaic "traditions", fanatism, intolerance and prejudice, will hardly change under the present circumstances. I feel so angry and saddened, every time I read or hear about new or further incidents - a spiral of violence - hence, it is better to take a deep breath and provide, as much as possible, factual links.
Many gendercides go still unnoticed; in certain countries, censorship prevents the public from knowing true facts.
According to official sources, even in our Western World, the numbers of acts of violence against women, especially children, are much too high, and there is still a long way to go, till attitudes change:

Most of the figures and statistics display merely the tip of the iceberg, and they do not tell how many people suffer from or are sacrificed by such systems.
