Brian Williams forfeits anchor post, will stay on at NBC : By Boston Herald

Embattled newsman Brian Williams will return to NBC, but not to the coveted anchor chair.
Williams, whose career hit a road block when a soldier called him out on tall tales of taking enemy fire, will reportedly have more of a role at MSNBC when he returns from a six-month suspension, according to news reports.

The network is planning to announce Williams' new job today. In addition, several news reports said current fill-in host Lester Holt will take over the anchor job permanently.

Holt has helmed the Nightly News" since the suspension began and has kept the program slightly ahead in a ratings competition with ABC's "World News Tonight" that Williams had dominated.

NBC suspended Williams for six months on Feb. 10 after he admitted to falsely claiming he had been in a helicopter hit by enemy fire during the Iraq war, when in fact his helicopter had not been hit.

The network subsequently ordered an internal investigation into other instances where Williams allegedly embellished his experiences, most often in talk show appearances. The company has not said whether it will make its findings public.

In April, former NBC News President Andy Lack was brought back to oversee the news division, with executive Pat Fili-Krushel dismissed, adding a new voice into deliberations over a decision that will likely be made by top executives at NBC's corporate parent Comcast Corp.

The Emperor is Still Naked by Roseann Salanitri

Politically correct propaganda has invaded our collective conscious with terms that somehow make what was once thought of as abnormal now seem normal. Along with this new jargon comes a new rationale that is irrational to many who persist in living in the real world. Unfortunately, often the realists have remained silent – indifferent to or intimidated by the name-calling of those claiming to be tolerant. And so the topsy-turvy world that once was America has now become a land where free speech is only afforded to those with loud voices who have a national platform and embrace liberal ideologies. They prey upon our compassions and elevate them to a fault, obscuring reality in the process. This new ideology also embraces an "I think, therefore I am" philosophy of life that Walter Mitty exemplifies. Perhaps it is high time a new term is coined. If reality is reality – it can be argued that not dealing in reality is not sane. Therefore, the term "trans-sanity" should be applied to those who believe they are something they are not.

The two most recent evangelists for trans-sanity are CNN anchor Fredricka Whitfield and Rachel Dolezal, head of the local chapter of the NAACP in Spokane, Washington.

As for Ms. Dolezal, who is a white woman trying to pass herself off as black, her leadership in the NAACP would – at best – seem an anomaly in a sane world. However, today the greater anomaly may be that she is newsworthy at all. While Ms. Dolezal represents a segment of the population that is hard to understand, pundits who paint odd behavior with a normal brush have been quick to seize upon the opportunity to coin a new term. To them, Ms. Dolezal is not an oddity, she is trans-black. Translation: her physical realities do not prevent her from being what she thinks she is in her heart. Therefore, this white woman who embraces the black community can now claim to be black – regardless of her heritage or genetic makeup.
Although CNN anchor Fredricka Whitfield may not aspire to be trans-anything, she is just as delusional as Ms. Dolezal. In Ms. Whitfield's world, the deranged assassin who attacked the Dallas police station is "courageous and brave." The real problem is not that the likes of Ms. Whitefield exist, the real problem is that the likes of Ms. Whitfield are given a microphone and a national platform. And so, Ms. Whitfield has earned her standing in the Trans-sanity Hall of Fame where all things are possible regardless of reality.

To be sure, the world of trans-sanity has a booming population and includes many political and celebrity citizens, such as Elizabeth Warren, who is trans-Indian; Hillary Clinton, who is trans-poor; Barack Obama, who is trans-deprived regardless of the fact that he rose to become president; and dare I mention "Mr." Jenner, who has become a role model for the gender confused? While we may feel sympathetic about Mr. Jenner's confused identity, wouldn't it be more commendable to find him the help he needs to resolve his confusion? After all, doesn't true compassion and true love require dealing with the truth even when it hurts?
One of the more noteworthy anomalies earning honorable mention in the Trans-Sanity Hall of Fame where the irrational parade themselves as civic-minded servants of righteousness is none other than the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, known as the NAACP. This organization was formed in 1909 for ethnic minorities with good reason but over the years has corrupted their mission and vision. Their mission states:

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to
ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons
and to eliminate race-based discrimination.

And their vision statement declares:

The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race.

Really? "To ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons..."and "to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race?" Are we to believe that the NAACP of 2015 is concerned about the rights of people of all colors, which would include whites? If that were true, Ms. Dolezal's position in their organization would not be threatened. The shocking fact that Ms. Dolezal is white and not black as she represented, has become a problem for this non-discriminatory protector of all people – not her lying or her Walter Mitty inclinations. Additionally, if the NAACP is truly adverse to discrimination based on race, why aren't they objecting to the Black Caucus in congress, or the Black Miss America beauty pageant, or the many "black only" organizations and/or contests readily found on the internet? While the NAACP fulfilled a legitimate need when it was first organized, it has now become indulgent in the race discrimination it was founded to combat. And since they truly believe themselves to be warriors of race discrimination, they also have earned honorable mention in the Trans-Sanity Hall of Fame.

Today we're living in the days of the Emperor's New Clothes on steroids. If the emperor is naked; he is naked and no conciliatory rhetoric or modern jargon can change that. But where is the child willing to speak the truth? Where are the masses who understand that the insane can only rule the world if the sane abdicate? The Bible tells us that we are to be watchmen on a wall – that when we see evil advancing, we are to sound the alarm and warn the people. If we do not and the people suffer at the hands of the enemy; their blood will be on the watchman's hands. However, in 2015 the only blood that will be found on the watchman is his own resulting from the assaults he received from his own people.

When we allow the media to set the narrative and deny that Islamic Extremists are Muslims, or that ISIS is not Islamic, or that all police are racists and deserve to be assaulted, we allow the corruption of sanity to escalate. In this world, those who believe in a standard of right and wrong, or refuse to call anything but a spade a "spade", are called intolerant or heartless. In this world, we have converted the horror or Aldous Huxley's Brave New World into the left's touchy-feely Trans-sanity World, where the white rabbit lives on and Walter Mitty rules. I'd long regarded Montel as a not particularly penetrating, standard-issue, celebrity-culture liberal — but his stock inched up a bit in my index owing to his recent efforts focusing attention on Marines wrongly imprisoned abroad. His venomous, hysterical rants in this Duggar matter, however, have tempered even that; it develops he's just another spouter of fuzzy-headed leftism.

Carly Fiorina’s Common Sense on Illegal Immigration : By Onan Coca

Hey fellow conservative, how's this for some no-nonsense talk on immigration?

Well, in my view, we also have to fix the illegal immigration system, which has been broken for about 25 years now. No one's -- everyone talks about comprehensive solutions but nobody starts with the basics. My own view is, if you have come here illegally and stayed here illegally, that you don't get a path to citizenship.

Wow! This comment came not from Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio or Scott Walker, but from dark horse candidate Carly Fiorina. Fiorina has been firing up the GOP crowds coast to coast over the last few months and positions like this are why. She is willing to say the logical and honest things that GOP candidates should be saying. She goes further to say that "legal status" may be possible, but it is simply immoral to give law-breaking illegal immigrants a free pass while law abiding legal immigrants wait as many as 10 years to get here legally!

Fiorina made these comments on MSNBC's Morning Joe with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on Monday, and I'd be willing to bet they'll be well received in the conservative corners of the Internet.

Watch for the immigration bit, but stay for the entire interview; it's well worth your time. Carly Fiorina is a force to be reckoned with.

Especially since the U.S. has already spent $25 billion in aid, investing in training and equipping the Iraqi military, only to have those brave warriors run from ISIS militants like high school cheerleaders. The definition of insanity is attempting the same strategy over and over again expecting a different result.

It's been a year since ISIS began raping and pillaging its way through Iraq's Nineveh province, emptying the city of Mosul of its Christian population. Since then, ISIS has captured Fallujah and Ramadi, two other major cities U.S. troops fought and died to secure before Obama took office. The brutal regime has driven tens of thousands from Northern Iraq, kidnapped, tortured, and murdered thousands of Iraqi soldiers, raped hundreds of women and young girls, and committed countless beheadings, including that of Americans James Foley and Steven Sotloff.
There is estimated to be 31,000 militants on the fields of Iraq and Syria, doubling their number since last fall.
ISIS is much more than the "JV team" President Obama once described, and it's not going away any time soon. It is an established army with thirty-five square miles of prime Middle East real estate, raking in nearly up to $3 million per day in revenue.
The ultimate long-term goal of ISIS is to expand its current state to the four corners of the earth, imposing Sharia law on all mankind and either slaughtering those who do not comply, or forcing them to live a humiliating second-class existence. Of course, it does indeed, have the United States in its sights. In fact, the group is already attempting to use Libya as its new 'route to the West'.

IMPORTED MUSLIMS ARRIVING NOW IN THESE U.S. CITIES WND reveals big list of Obama's 'receiving communities' : LEO HOHMANN

Cheering Syrian rebels. The rebel groups are made up of various Sunni factions all vying to replace the Shiite-led government of Bashar al-Assad. The overwhelming majority of "refugees" coming from Syria are also Sunni Muslim.
A few congressmen are fighting to block the planned importation of thousands of Syrian refugees into American cities and towns, arguing that they present a grave security risk because many Syrians have ties to the Sunni rebel groups ISIS and al-Nusra Front.
But the fact is, as President Obama ignores the concerns of U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, and others on the House Homeland Security Committee, the Syrians have already started to arrive stateside.
Since January, more than 70 U.S. cities have been on the receiving end of a Syrian visitation.
WND has compiled a complete list of cities (see chart below) that received Syrian refugees since Jan. 1. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres has as many as 11,000 Syrians in a pipeline waiting for admission into the U.S., which is responsible for screening them for criminal and terrorist activity.

McCaul has tried to block the arrival of the Syrians based on testimony from FBI counter-terrorism experts. The Syrian civil war, now more than four years old, has chased more than 3.8 million Syrians from their homes, according to the U.N., which has about 130,000 it wants to resettle permanently in outside countries.

Chicago has received 42 Syrians so far this year, more than any other city, while San Diego has taken in 25 and Phoenix 20.

Assad protected the Christian minorities who have now come under brutal attack from ISIS and al-Nusra. Yet, only 4.9 percent of the 922 Syrians brought to the U.S. so far as refugees have been Christians.
Syria is home to one of the world's oldest Christian communities. It was in Antioch, Syria, where followers of Jesus Christ were first called "Christians," yet their churches have been destroyed and their families decimated by ISIS and al-Nusra terrorists. Many have watched family members beheaded or shot in front of their eyes.
"Syria represents the single largest convergence of Islamic terrorists in history," McCaul wrote in his June 11 letter to Obama.
